Conclusion of my first visit to Frankfurt, Germany/Carlos Pueblo

Conclusion of my first visit to Frankfurt, Germany/Carlos Pueblo

In three weeks, I am going to visit Germany and some parts of Europe again;
therefore, I must have a brief conclusion of my first visit to Frankfurt. I have
been very impressed of the city and the history of the nation and regret that I
do not know the language. I like to know more about Europe after the fall of
Roman Empire and turning to Holly Roman Empire, of course, all the wars
among those stronger ones and the survivals until today. Europe have been
most in peace for 71 years except a brief violent during the break up of then
Yugoslavia. German Nation did join NATO force to play a major role to reach
a peace settlement and the reason why caused such human tragedy that I
may get some motivation from my next European visit to Istanbul, Turkey.

Frankfurt looks like Houston in some way, a lot of immigrants come in for job
and new life. I met an Egyptian young man who helped me to buy a ticket from
the German reading machine. We had had a good conversation during our ride
on the tram. He gave me some quit tip to reach the river bank and he also
mentioned an interesting fact of life as an Islam in Germany. He said that the 19
day light hours was more difficult for him to bear during the Ramadan, fasting
month for this believe.

Recently in Taiwan, a top German representative joins a seminar to present German
experience in two separate eras for political justice, one after the war and one after
the  unification, how German government help to make justice for those oppressed
during the authoritarian regimes Nazi and Communist rule. Taiwan has just been
in taste of liberation from long time Chinese Nationalist rule everything must be
rebuilt in a democratic system providing fare share to the general public.

My most admiration to Germany is the attitude toward the refugee problem from
Syria. German show their kindness to help the refugee the most among the world
Nations. It is humane and national confidence expressed to the maximum.
