春天到都柏林/莊峻華

許多外國人在都柏林工作，都柏林人口約53萬，周圍人口總算，

高達80萬，在城中逛街，可以聽到許多外國口音，我遇見到許

多東方人，許多學生，許多就業，愛爾蘭是ㄧ 歐盟國家，許多東

歐移民。我因尋找洗衣店，從園丁街北向到帕內爾街西向，這就

是東方人街，不全是唐人街，許多雜貨店和餐廳。繼續西向，穿

過奧康乃爾大道，仍舊是車水馬龍，奧大道上，有很多古典建築，

馬上就來到莫爾街左轉南下，這是露天花市和果菜市場，當然背

後是一般商店。都柏林市民高收入，花卉有市場，清晨花店主人

忙著整理花束，已經有光臨顧客，有日我在水果攤，購到西班牙

百香果。

像亨利街購物中心，都在附近，，愛比街有一紅線輕軌電車，可

以到許多市區，像法院區，老詹姆士森蒸餾廠，國家博物館，和

舊兵營等，我因有五日停留，所以選擇步行，拍照方便。我經過

四法院區，約是地方法院開始，到最高法院，建築宏偉，愛爾蘭

1922年始獨立，所以許多英帝國痕跡，我入老威士忌廠參觀，已

經是豪華餐廳和產品紀念品門市部，旁邊仍然保留老酒廠煙囪，今

為瞭望台，有電梯上下。續行西向，就是國家博物館，沿途是住宅

區，都柏林人喜歡園藝，櫻花怒放。

回家寫遊記看街圖，始發現愛爾蘭兵營，就在附近，我參觀白金漢

宮禁衛軍交街，女皇禁衛軍，有ㄧ 營是愛爾蘭軍，不知來自於此兵

營，或是北愛爾蘭？我在博物館北方過利飛河，北岸開始有許多歷

史建築，仍舊維護甚佳，市政府就在老城市中，北鄰就是北歐維金

征服者，留下之城堡教堂，我一直忙著拍攝櫻花相片，緊鄰就是三

一學院，國家圖書館，和聖史蒂芬綠地花園。

利飛河上有一艘美麗帆船，尚未揚帆，北岸此地是狹窄公園，有大

饑荒紀念碑，許多愛爾蘭移民到美國。有一宏偉之海關大廈，規模

類似台灣總統府，我真的和主事聊天，談到英帝國和滿清之南京條

約，英國要求管滿清之海關，代替賠款。愛爾蘭財務中心也在此。

有一荒廢教堂，建築美觀大方，已經改為辦公室，春天到都柏林，

看到都柏林之美麗，也體會愛爾蘭之新興。

During my search of new chip for my Canon Camera, I walked into the famous

campus of Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. St. Stephen Green Park is just adjacent

to it. Spring cherry blossom were all over on both places. It was indeed a bonus

to me for all the trips this year, Tidal Basin of Washington, D. C., Kensington and

Hyde Park, London, and St. Stephen Green, Dublin.

Trinity College is one of the prettiest university campus I have ever visited, no lake

not very much green land, all beautiful huge classical buildings. St. Stephen Green

like a part of the university with small lake, flower gardens, green grass fields. Both

campus and park are with charming cherry blossom, at least I can identify 5 different

kinds of flower cherry trees, red pink Fugenzo, white Shirfugen, kwanzan, Akebono,

and a red flower which I forget the name I have seen it near Jefferson Memorial

facing Tidal Basin. All of these the blossom and green leaves are simultaneously

coming out in the spring and last a little bit more than a week and you will see the

padels  fallen down all over the ground. No need to be sorry when the  beautiful flowers

are gone, they will be back next spring. This is why I always enjoy to observe cherry

blossom in Washington, D.C., in Tokyo, Japan., In London., In Vancouver, Canada., and

now in Dublin, Ireland.

St. Stephen Green Park has gardens, lake, green area which is well planned. There was

a story on stand in front of a small house about the rebellion in early 20th century.

Both British and Irish rebel force agreed a cease fire every morning and allowed the

Park chief to feed the animal birds on the pond. Irish could not hold the Park and

eventually, Ireland went independent from Britain.

It was on Saturday with a sunshine day. People came to visit both the College and the Park.

Other than cherry blossom, there were turnips, roses, and some other tree blossom all

over both places. I had been back three times during my 5 days visit of Dublin even I ran

into raining day, the Park was still very pretty.

On my way to visit the city, every place with a green yard, there were always cherry

blossom to make the city very unique. I like Dublin because of this landscape and I

even ignore forget to take a note of all of those pretty classical buildings in the city,

their names and their history, they will be there when I come back to visit.

我在尋找相機磁碟片，走入馳名遠近之三一學院，此為一美麗校園

，擠滿遊客，許多小費導遊，有的甚至著古典服裝，校園内有櫻花

盛開，真是旅行紅利，不想華府賞櫻後，倫敦遇櫻花開，接著是都

柏林，學院緊鄰就是史提芬綠地花園，也是櫻花怒放，愛爾蘭仍舊

是春天。

最多者為普賢象櫻花，粉紅轉白花朵層層，還有幾種，一時無法認

出花名。我習慣一一檢視，一一拍攝相片，花園廣闊，有一大圓環

，許多年輕人躺臥草地曬太陽，幾座鬱金香花圃，各色花朵，亭亭

玉立，非常美麗，因是週末，許多當地人，闔府出動，我反覆出入

兩處，而且連去拜訪三次。

花園有一故事，就是在當年愛爾蘭人造反，佔據花園，與英軍對峙

，其間每日固定時間，雙方停火，讓花園主任餵食池塘內動物，造

反失敗，但愛爾蘭終究獨立英國統治。

其實都柏林社區，種植櫻花，春天花開，非常顯目，有時雨天，仍

舊無阻於我之賞花興趣，我很喜歡城市之美觀規劃，反映出地方政

府主事之雅緻。

一日我從花園街北上，在帕内耳街左轉西向，這是東方人商店區，

穿過奧康奈耳大道，不久就是早市，許多花攤，各種新鮮花卉，

花店規模，可以猜測當地人之購買力和雅興，我想都柏林人愛花，

而且有此經濟能力。

It was raining when I arrived at Dublin, I managed to get up and off

the bus and the difficult part was try to find my hostel on lower

Garden Street because the numbers arrangement were very much

different from what I understood. Finally, as usual, I asked enough

people and reached my address. I was wet including all my belonging.

The inn has been more than 100 years yet still in very good order.

Many guests use the kitchen facility which is very convenient to me

to prepare my own food other than others soup for instance.

Lower Garden is perpendicular to the River Liffey only a few blocks away.

During the old time, big sails could reach the city on the river; therefore

most of the historical buildings are on both sides of the river and can be

track back to more than a thousand years. I had had something in my mind,

I only had my second chip for my Canon camera and I liked to get a spare

one in case that I needed it. I turned right or west on Talbot Street, a familiar

Irish name, to the old town shopping center and turned again back to O’Connell

toward the river, they called Quay to be near the river banks.

Dublin is very dynamic, new building and the innovation of the aged. I always

like to visit this island nation. One year during an election in Taiwan, Mary Robinson

was invited to be an observer by the opposition party, and she was prohibited to

greet Taiwanese on a podium. The opposition party is now the incumbent in Taiwan.

She mentioned something about the famine in Ireland during her visit. Two years ago,

I watched a Taiwanese television talk show about Irish national capital income. The

number is higher than Britain and I check it truth. It is true and the number is approaching

that of the United States. I know the statistic sometimes mislead the reader such as

Chinese GDP versus people’s wealth. Recently, Ireland encourages foreign investment;

therefore, foreign capital pulls in increase the gross domestic product number, divided

by the same national population become a higher national income average, actually the

nation is still poor yet better off than some of the rest of the world. I have seen many

foreigners working in Dublin.

I got my camera chip with 6,000 shots at one big Fuji camera shop on the south side of the

River near Trinity College where I discovered another wonderful cherry blossom.

抵都柏林，正巧下大雨，拖著笨重行李，上下巴士，下車後，又在

街上找旅社，淋雨狼狽不堪，終於找到，老旅社無電梯，將大箱衣

物，放在地下層儲藏室，換洗衣物，帶到三樓房間，此老店設備很

奇怪，廁所和浴室，在另外一層，辦公室在入門前廳，都須要不斷

穿梭，始得達到目的。旅社有一廚房，面積很大，許多人使用。

這是老都柏林鬧區，旅社在下花園街，離城河不遠，利飛河，古代大

帆船可以停泊，許多都柏林古老建築，都在兩岸，有些都有千年以上

之歷史。我在踏伯特街右轉，西向，走回奧康奈耳街，就是巴士進城

之大道，許多古典雄偉建築，我不斷拍攝相片，但也關切相機底片容

量，我是須要補購一張磁碟片，否則很快就告行罄，街上富士相機行

，沒有我老相機之磁碟片，告知過河南岸，或許有賣，我問路專門，從

上午問到中午，終於找到這家大富士相機行，接近著名之三一學院，很

貴，一百歐元加稅，可以拍攝六千張，回家後可以上傳到桌型電腦，省

下洗相片費用，我有兩張磁碟片，分別可拍攝340和1,400張，過去旅

程短足夠用，去年歐洲行超過一個月，須要年輕人幫忙上傳到手提電腦

，然後洗去記憶再重新使用，今年使用筆記型電腦，找不到連接入口，

因此只有忍痛購置。

都柏林到處在建設，到處在整修翻新，愛爾蘭是一有動力之國度，兩年

前，我關心台北市長選舉，觀看台北政論節目，無意間看到一節目，提

到愛爾蘭之平均國民所得，高於英國，我乍聽之下，不敢相信，後來上

谷歌，果然是，而且進逼美國，眾院民主黨領袖，普洛西女士曰，全美

國有五萬愛爾蘭人，非法移民，台灣政論主講，又提道波羅的海三小國

人，喜歡到愛爾蘭工作，這是一團迷霧，令人費解，但我讀媒體報導有

經驗，尤其是中國之總生產量，明明中國貧窮至極，何以媒體天天吹捧

中國之經濟全球第二，而且要馬上追過美國，原因是總生產量，平均國

民所得，需要除以人口總數，真正國民購買力，又是一番學問，愛爾蘭

有很多外來投資，生產量算在愛爾蘭總生產額，愛爾蘭人口少，所以國

民所得很漂亮。

我後來到巴黎，離開巴黎和一位巴西小姐地下跌同車，她假日從都柏林

來巴黎當女傭，賺些費用，她藉學習英文到愛爾蘭，取得該國工讀許可

，最近英國投票，要退出歐盟，因為歐盟許可各國人，在歐盟境內找工

作，非常有趣，旅行真是幫我，了解世面。

Arriving Heathrow Airport late on Thursday night, 05/05/2016, I was very relax

to have a Tube ride to my hostel at Bayswater on the skirt of Hyde Park. I went to

visit Kensington Park next morning very early. I was attracted by the beautiful

spring flowers for the entire day. I had inspected the Queen Victoria Garden, some

small garden in front of the police head quarter, and almost every blooming cherry

tree.

The garden is in the front of Kensington Palace, the Queen’s birth place, her white

statue is up to the front. Varies colors of turnip flower with stems shooting up, the

gardeners place several rolls of flowers among them. It is indeed a Royal Garden

with top class flowers arrangement. I walked toward the golden Prince Albert Statue,

the Queen’s husband. Pretty red camellia, magnolia flowers in pink and white spread

along the pedestrian path, I found a scarlet red cherry blossom. Before this European

trip, I just came back from my annual visit of cherry blossom festival in Washington D.C.

I noticed the tree was similar to the red one nearby Jefferson Memorial facing Tidal

Basin. I walked toward a gardener who was doing some yard work about the name of

the cherry flower, he said that he had no idea yet he pointed on the direction with more

cherry blossom.

I could identify Kwanzan, Akebono, Fugenzo, Shirofugen, and a red one which I lost my

memory. Kwanzan and Fugenzo are complex pedals red turn pink; Shirofugen is white

Fugenzo while Akebono has red bulb and turn to pink then white. The most famous

Somei Yoshino cherry blossom were gone yet I did see them on my first visit of the

Park a couple years ago.

I walked along a river, it was a lake, inspecting each flowering cherry tree. White

Swans, ducks, sea gull, pigeons, and birds of all kinds etc. was flying up and down. I was

again taking a nap until a friendly boxer woke me up. I continued walking enjoy the

beautiful spring and I passed by a small garden with turnips at a significant yet small

police headquarter.

Yamada Haruhiko from Tokyo came to have dinner with me that night. I got to know

him on this hostel last year and had had a dinner in Tokyo early this year. We have

become a good friend. He was on his annual European trip at the time. We had

Cantonese roast duck and beer.

抵達倫敦希斯落機場，已是晚間，我熟練找到旅社，翌日清晨，開始

公園賞花，先是堪新頓皇家公園，維多利亞女皇出生皇宮前花園，畢

竟是皇家花園，各色鬱金香花，亭亭玉立，周圍幾環不同顏色花叢陪

襯，紫色黃色，多彩多姿，我需要在許多角落拍攝，始得珍貴春天一

刻。

接近艾伯特大公，女皇夫婿，金像前，開始有許多相識春花，紅色山茶

花，粉紅色木蘭花，還有一些唸不出大名，或回憶起之花卉，有兩株鮮

艷赤紅之櫻花，姑忘其名，有人提到，在傑佛遜紀念館旁近水處，有一

園丁正在修葺枝葉，我問紅櫻花名，回曰不知，但告訴我尚有多叢櫻花

怒放，今年春天特長，幾種櫻花遲來，我故不知，堪新頓和海德兩皇家

公園，種植如此多之日本櫻花，當然英國人，無時間如我一般，一株株，

一枝幹之欣賞。

我當場認出幾種櫻花，粉紅色複花朵瓣者，泰半是普賢象櫻花，有些是關

山櫻花；白色花朵者，為白普賢櫻花，和普賢象一模一樣，只是紅白不同

而已；第四種是曙櫻花，今年我在華府碰上，但關山和紅白普賢，均見花

苞而已，最出名之染井吉野櫻花，花季已過，我初訪倫敦幾年前，在海德

公園接近艾伯特館對面，看到吉野早櫻。這次我一株一株，拍攝留念，像

全球各地春櫻一般珍貴。

東京之山田晴彥兄來訪，我年初在東京已晚餐一次，這是去年我們在此旅店

相識者，結果變成好友，我帶他吃烤鴨，各自分攤，他非常滿意，拍照留念。

I knew that the Plaza d’espanya was gorgeous because of passing by a day before;

Therefore, I decided to go back to visit again on the next day. Several buildings on

the square and nearby have been built since 1929, International Exhibition. This

Exhibition was not the famous World Exposition, World’s Fair, and I admitted my

mistake in my Chinese edition of my journal. I selected the Avenida Paral-lel to start

my walk of the city this time. A ham shop caught my eyes and I went in to have a

camera inspection. A year ago, I was in downtown Malaga and saw a ham leg on a

window of a fancy restaurant with a knife ready to slide and a bottle of wine on the

side. A restaurant came out to greet me and I asked immediately quanto questa?

How much was it for me to have a piece? His answer was 25 euros for a minimum

Order and of course I was shy away to have a vegetable roll instead. Yong gave me

a takeout ham sandwich on the first night in Barcelona and on the second morning

breakfast which we had had a buffet at the hotel restaurant which we had ham as

well. It was very delicious and I decided to know more about it. I read about a Chinese

cure pork leg from a place south of Yangtze River called Ginhwa fire leg yet I never have

a taste of it. This is called Jamon Iberico, I am sorry that I must go back to Anella.

Before the entrance of a busy highway on the avenue, I made a left turn to another

busy street with lots of shops. Some of idle old buildings existed on Paral-lel and  

were kept in some tolerated condition. I bought a piece of water melon and consumed

on a small playground for children. There was a small coffee shop at one end of shopping

mall and asked to wash my hands. I followed the scene of tall roof of a dome of some kind.

I was on my way to the famous Anella Olmpica 1992, yet it was still with a distance on the

hilly road. I took a nap on a small park next to an apartment complex which I believed was

an athletes’ village back then. Two lovely dogs woke me up and one them was a Chow Chow.

I ran into them again when I walked up to a street corner. There was this place on a side of

some abandoned field of old Olympic menu with pretty wild flowers of red color and white

color two individual of same kind. I took several pictures and hoped one day I would know

its name. Most of the stadiums and arenas are intact with excellent condition.

I walked out of the park and entered an adjacent garden of some old royalty and ran into

a pretty Chinese girl from London, Miss Yu, who attended a marathon nearby Barcelona.

She was very open and friendly and I took her back to the Olympic park for some photos.

Later, I invited her to our hotel restaurant for dinner and met our group. She was such an

interesting girl to have an excellent conversation with and even paid her bill.

我因見西班牙廣場，美麗壯觀，於是決定，再次拜訪，從旅館附近搭地下

跌，約六站可及，剛才查網路字典，西班牙廣場，緣起於1929年，世界

博覽會，主展覽館所在地，我沒參觀館址衍生建築，選擇大道，走出廣場

，許多著名建築，像巴塞隆納商展館，馳名全歐洲。西班牙著名之薰醃臘

腿，有家大店，展示許多產品，去年我在南部馬拉卡市城中餐廳，有一隻

火腿展出示，而且已經割取一部份，經理曰一客25歐元，抵巴市首夜，榮

祥帶回一份臘腿三明治，十分可口，翌日早餐，旅館飯店也提供臘火腿肉，

所以我自然約束自己，不予購買。

巴塞隆納市，也有一些老建築，荒廢在街道上，主人或是市府，無適當用途

，我無目標的逛街，在一大街左轉，也不知目的地，一家小水果店，賣1/4

塊西瓜，顏色紅豔，我忍不住買了一塊，一公斤1.50歐元，我找到一小孩

盪鞦韆處，坐在板凳上吃畢西瓜，附近有小餐廳，主人慷慨提供廁所，然後

我就像圓頂建築邁進，結果走上，奧林匹克山莊。

路人不斷鼓勵我，奧運館址，就在附近，聖火高塔可見，但其實尚有一段距離

，先是一大片公寓住宅，我想這是當年之選手村，改變用途，有小型公園，因

疲倦已極，躺在長椅午睡，我的長凳，稍有樹蔭，苦苓林株，雖是全身五層衣

物，巴士春天，小山崗涼風，我想在此，午睡著涼。一隻小白狗叫醒，於是我

開始精神來到，小犬親切友善，但其同門喬喬大犬，則是害羞不已，但我習慣

不放棄，仍舊英語甜言蜜語，主人立刻帶近，於是互相認識，後來又在轉角處

遇見。

許多場地，已經荒蕪，但比蒙特婁奧運場址好多，巴塞隆納籃球足球職業隊，仍

就使用場地，主田徑館，仍舊是新穎，草皮綠油油，館內館外都是，引來一車車

之觀光客，我在館外場地小坡和空地上，看到一大片不知名紅白野花，像是野菊

，非常美麗，拍攝許多相片，當然走下奧林匹克山莊後，就是一貴族花園，和國

家美術館比鄰，花園內株花怒放，我也叫不出其名。

我在美術館前，巧遇一位中國江西省于小姐，我自動幫她拍攝，並且獻勤帶她，

參觀奧林匹克主館，小姐大方美麗，於是我邀請她，到旅館飯店晚餐，我們四位

老男人，口才不若此姑娘，她在倫敦銀行工作，來西班牙馬拉松比賽，是位運動

健將。

我隔街鄰居培德羅，哥倫比亞人，清晨散步伙伴，也是旅行顧問，強調

多次，經過巴塞隆納市，必須拜訪蒙特色拉，休市郵輪旅伴依安，幾點

景觀建議，均有此地，荷蘭太太看到建議點，也肯定此推薦，於是我安

排抵巴市後翌日前往。車站就是鼎鼎大名之西班牙廣場，我在廣場繞一

大圈，終於遇見耶和華見證會信徒幫忙，找到購票處，到目的地，需要

兩張車票，一張是輕便火車，一張是登山流龍，一共是29.50歐元，我

將車票放在皮夾內部，第一張車站入口無誤，這是郊外山區火車，一路

順風，過一小時後，到達山區一站，風景美麗，我就下車遊覽。

此站附近，就有山壁，類似小峽谷，但有公路上山，不僅公路，火車流

龍站，都在一起，車站旁就是一山溪，溪畔和山璧間，就是公路，橋旁

是大型遊覽車停車場，我沿溪畔，朔水而上，小溪畔有一公寓建築，面

對公路面，像是大飯店規劃，花園遊泳池，有園丁照顧，我在庭院內，

換上第二張相片卡，第一張340張相片，第二張1500張，巴市不過是

首站，歐洲城市。隔公路是一修道院，和一豪華週末飯店，專門招待富

貴人家。我因為掛念山頂之古典修道院和小鎮，所以回火車站，繼續路

程，這是下一站，也是山路火車終點。

所有乘客都下車，到山頂須要換車，班車月台，就在同一月台，相反方

向，我就在此月台，被擋住不能上車，我當時有三張車票，都在皮夾內

，不同位置，小姐要我再買一張票，我說山下車站曰，29.50歐元，可以

坐到蒙特色拉，申辯無用，於是我就到小村落逛街，買了幾粒蕃茄，一

小時後回車站，還是不能上車，於是我就搭車回，西班牙廣場站，下車

後，再找職員理論，這時候，我已經找到那張車票，原來置放款在駕照

一起，這是原巴市地下跌車票專用處，原車票已取出使用中。

這是很明顯之老化作用，回來旅館後，我越想越氣，然後投訴該公司，

這就是蒙特色拉對我陌生之緣由，鄰居聞訊曰，仍然未達蒙特色拉，

誠然我與蒙特色拉無緣，兩個月後，我將再回歐洲，旅行兩個月，從

巴塞隆納搭船回美國，只是路過上船巴塞隆納。
