A dinner with old college classmates in Houston/Carlos Pueblo

A dinner with old college classmates in Houston/Carlos Pueblo
Last Saturday night, I had had a very nice dinner with four of my old college
classmates in Houston. We set the dinner time was at 6:00 pm; however, we
all arrived at 5:30 pm which indicated how anxious we were for the meeting.
Old college time means almost half a century in history at Taiwan Normal, yet
we still keep a very kin relationship each other either in Taiwan or in Houston.
The dinner was very nice and thank to Ya Ping to treat us. Henry and I took the
recommendation from a Taiwanese lady waitress to order a seafood combination
for 10 instead of six person actually. They were pepper salt Alaska crab, ginger
lobsters, two kinds of pork ribs, pepper and sweet soy source, American celery
flounder, four seasons bean, and fried rice.

We sat into two sub-groups, one with three ladies friendship back to the old
days and a group of Taiwanese spoken three male. We talked about children
and grandchildren, stories of traveling back to Taiwan, and some experience of
living in Shanghai, both Henry and Ya Ping’s daughter have had the experience.
During their visiting Taiwan, Henry and Ginfong always have parties with our
classmates in both Hsinchu and Tainan. I heard that some suggested we have
cruise at Galveston, Texas for our American class reunion. I think the order of
cruise destination should be. Alaska, New England and Canada, and Southern
or Eastern Caribbean instead of Western Caribbean from Houston, Texas.

Henry and Ginfong invite us to visit their home at Woodlands, Texas next time
when Ya Ping come to visit their son in Houston. I regret that I forgot to inform
Jay at  Point Confort, Texas. He told me to inform him next time.
