Taking a walk on two London’s Parks/Carlos Pueblo

Taking a walk on two London’s Parks/Carlos Pueblo
Kensington Park and Hyde Park are next to each other and passing
through Hyde Park Corner is Green Park of Buckingham Palace. St.
James Park is next to the Green Park. They are all inside the city of
Westminster, the former pair is larger than the later, and all can be
taking a walk within a day. There are white swans resting on lakes
and all parks are beautiful. After viewing Buckingham Guards Change,
the two ladies from Tainan took us to tour, Green Park, St. James,
Wellington Arch, Trafalgar Square, Household Calvary Museum ,
10 Downing Street, and to Westminster Abbey and Palace etc., all
inside the city limit and within walking distance.

Kensington and Hyde are the two parks which I have taken a walk for
Two days in my 10 days staying in London. After putting down my
Luggage, I took the Tube subway to South Kensington and walked toward
Albert and Victoria Museum. I missed an exit and ended up at Natural
History Museum. Keeping on walking, I came to Albert Hall and Albert
Square, the bright golden statue attracted me. This is the beginning of
Kensington Park. Prince Albert is the spouse of Queen Victoria and Victoria
had been on the throne for a long time with admirable achievement. The
Museum has abundant collection of gold, gold coins, jewelry, swards, and
precious art works etc. There are some small gardens inside the Park, such
as variety of tulips, some unknown  flowers, also on the trees. I walked down
to the lakeside path with several blooming flowering cherry trees. I recognize
the kind, Alkebono, means daybreak cherry , a derivative of Yoshino cherry
from Tokyo. It is two weeks late bloom in compare with Tidal Basin, Washington,
D.C.

White swans, group together, stick their neck to the lake water for food. Long Lake
has a lot of birds, such as ducks, geese, pigeons etc. flying up and down the lake.
I was sitting on a bench watching people feeding the birds. At the end of the lake is
Hyde Park Corner, you can see the busy intersection of Wellington Arch and others.
There is a roses garden under Queen Elizabeth’s name and also two weeks before
blooming time. Two Taiwanese ladies took us to the Corner to see the famous
political forum at Hyde Park, actually it was long gone nowadays. The old area is
marked, yet nothing left. There is a pavilion for bands to perform during summer
and a food stand now.

Two days later, I walked down to another entrance of the Park and under an Asian
Indian lady’s recommendation to visit Kensington Palace. It is really a pretty garden
And architecture, not far away, there is a Princess Diana’s Memorial.
