New normal life after the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus/Carlos Pueblo

It is too huge to imagine the damage of the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus at this moment. The impact of such pandemic makes us to consider how to face the new normal life after three months. We are still required to wear mask as well as keeping social distance. I have scheduled my daily routine by increasing the streets which I previously has covered. I do not dare to go on cruise trip like before and I don't spend any money until it is necessary. I believe that the inflation can't be avoid with so much U.S. dollars been printed.

I doesn't matter if the society is preferred or not, I have myself prepare to use the mask immediately when I need it. This means that I do carry my mask covering my mouth and can place that mask to cover my nose when I pass on smoking area for instance. You may think that I am stupid yet I protect you in every way I can.

The cruise liner has sent me e-mails twice a day to advertise its new schedule. The earliest schedule is in August and only seven of its fleet of 17 and other two luxury additions are available. I can't get my last minute bargain any longer. it is alright that I only have 4 deposit voucher left which I must use them within 4 years of my purchase. A new normal is that I must take a virus screen test within 72 hours of my taking off on an airplane with a written certificate.

Donald Trump is going to sanction and post high import tax on Chinese goods; therefore, I don't expect seeing inexpensive consumer goods any longer. I am too old and I can save very much just within my needs. I have received my $1,200 impact check and I have sent it back even more to pay IRS my quarterly income tax payment before I can stimulate the economic.

It is a good news that the stock market has recovered most of its loss in March this year. I don't know why and I don't have to know. It is possible that the investor knows the money is better sitting on the market better than in cash. You don't want to lend your money to the federal government. 

I don't take advantage of the cheap gasoline price due to my lack of driving, 300 miles or less in a year. I fuel my walking energy by the home making of pasta.  I am very frugal and I think that I have my priority to make my tax payment or other obligation during this difficult time.

因為中國武漢肺炎肆虐，美國社會，已經開始形成，新正常生活方式，最常見者為戴口罩，保持距離，社區開始多人散步，注意身體健康，身體力行。昨日，我們再回網球場，結果不幸又被鎖箸大門，於是我和球友，在俱樂部樹蔭下，討論香港和中國政情，一位散步新識女鄰居，買菜回來路過，發現我們之困難，放下購菜後，前來幫忙，她是住家協會董事，有第一把鑰匙，打開後，我的門卡，就可以通行，美國人急公好義，非常有禮節。

目前，保守黨政府，開始開放禁令，開始要求恢復開工，但是很多企業，仍舊不甚放心，每日一郵輪公司，都兩次電郵廣告來，郵輪八月開始恢復一些航程，此家郵輪公司，有十七艘郵輪，恢復營業者，僅七艘而已，而且有新併購之豪華郵輪航號，繼續封關，航空公司也一樣，飛機都擺在沙漠，國外飛行前三日，乘客需要作肺炎篩檢，出示書面證明，這是新規定。

美國和中國，似乎全面開戰，美國進口貨物價，開始要調高，當然此與印鈔票也有關係，就是美金繼續加速貶值，這是新正常，不然美國股市，何以突然又漲價？逼進三月崩盤前價格，這是投資者判斷，留美金不如留在股市之故也。

我是更加節儉矣，除日常必需支出外，我已開始準備存款，繳交今年之所得稅，地方稅，保險金，電話網路費等，聯邦之一千二，不過是暫時轉帳耳，我又能買甚麼？刺激經濟。如此無常，四千萬失業人口，美國政府會不會倒閉？保守黨參院領袖，不是要紐約州宣佈破產？美國總統又是破產專門，我看美國在他管理下，真是濱臨破產，若美金破產，美金像希臘，阿根廷等國貨幣，我們真慘。

It has been out again for the problem of home economics that people have no saving in their household during the hard time like the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus Pandemic. People can't meet their daily payment and I am sure that governments can't help enough to solve the issue. Saving the capital is very essential for anyone attempts to be financial independent in his life. It is sounded like a boring subject yet proved very powerful. I am still very found of telling my own story to my readers to prove that is workable.

I saved a little bit of funds to buy the air plane ticket to study in the U.S. in 1975. As a matter of fact, the fund was only enough to reach to Honolulu, Hawaii. I did borrow some money from my relatives to make up the rest of the journey. Auburn University provided me a teaching assistant.ship for $375 a month and I began to save every month for two years. I always figure out the way to save after spending the necessary. I save the capital all the time. Then, I have accumulated a small amount of capital in my retirement funds both regular accounts and the Roth. I figure out that the U.S. Government is encouraging the citizen to save for the retirement via some deferred tax advantage. First to work as hard as you can and save as hard as you can, than the result will show. I have been out of a major contract of my insurance business since 2001 and still is without any of the stress in my life. 

I have helped both of my children to complete their college education. My daughter Michelle has been doing well and she knows very well of what she is doing. My son Arthur is a super market clerk with a minimum pay all the time. We plan a strategy for him to save the capital. We invite him to stay home with us free of charge. We encourage him to save majority of his income to his retirement plans such as the IRA and 401k. Now, his portfolio dividend income is approaching his annual income. Time is essential to save the capital and also very important to his happiness and self esteem. He will never have to worry about his payment because he has built up a saving habit in his young life.

During the pandemic lock down, I suddenly can't go anywhere for travel; therefore, I actually stop spending money on travel. Retirement funds are coming back to reach the previous level. I don't know the reason why yet I don't mind to see that. The long time saving capital is working very well.

金錢可以解決大部分之家庭問題，所以儲蓄累積資本，是一人生大目標，我的中老年人生幸福，絕大部分是建立在儲蓄基礎上，雖言容易觀念，但社會上仍舊有人有意無意之忽略，然後就是一系列之壓抑新聞，影響情緒，社會上一些問題，也常因金錢不足衍生，解決家庭經濟窘困，應早日準備，儲蓄累積資本，從小開始。

美國政府，鼓勵儲蓄，如果我們自己申報所得稅，可以發現很多退休儲蓄，累積資本之優惠，這些退休金計劃，可以減少仰賴日後政府之補助，以我家庭為例，45年前，隻身來美，開始讀書工作，二十餘年，儲蓄也如此多年，失業又就業，有一年重大失業，然後就賦閒在家，收入急遽減少，於是平日儲蓄資本，開始介入，儲蓄投資，幫忙兩子女，完成大學教育，然後他們各自工作，開始儲蓄累積資本，開始看到成效。

隨著多年儲蓄退休計劃，我先將當年收入，按照政府規定，儲蓄到股票基金，失業後，就將一些一般個人退休計劃，轉入羅斯個人退休計劃，此時和國稅局算清收入稅，羅斯部分，從此領出免交所得稅，這就是政府優惠儲蓄政策之一。七十歲半後，國稅局開始規定，每年最少之退休金計劃領出額，就是國稅局要對現其股份，我發現此為美國政治之先進有趣之處，這時後我之收入，僅剩社會安全金耳。

元兒在超市工作12年，都是基本工資，我們豪不落入世俗之在意，我們強邀他留在家裏，然後開始儲蓄累積資本，他一直有個人退休金計劃，最近幾年開始儲蓄公司之401k退休金計劃，而且是投資一半工作收入，這就是政府鼓勵低收入者儲蓄之德政，我們家有四房，吃飯僅增一雙竹筷，我還鼓勵他儲蓄收入之一半，年初購買個人退休計劃金，他的投資股息，已逼近其年收入，這些都是算術。我們家琳兒，會計專門，收入較佳，喜歡投資，除退休金外，喜歡投資租屋，這是一種有收入之房產。

愛美也有一筆資產，自己經營管理，生活有自信，開始控制自己之命運，不再宿命，或怨天尤人，這是儲蓄累積資本之益處。最近，我又開始注意股市，股市又莫名其妙長上來，已經漸漸恢復盛況，武漢肺炎，把我困在家裏，我的旅行支出歸零，又在家當老芋仔做水餃蒸饅頭等，無甚支出，年支出都在預算内，顛沛造次必於是。

In addition to my regular activity during the morning walk, I find another routine of viewing trees in the neighborhood as my favorite. American homeowners love to plant trees on their yards for the landscape and shades which are beneficiary to houses. I believe that big trees can deter the sudden hail and reduce the summer heatwave in some way. Of course, it is a hassle to manage the fallen branches during the storms  and leaves after the fall. Neighborhood trees are in better care in compare with trees in the forest and I can be appreciated the blooming during the year, i.e. the magnolia in May here in Houston as an example.

There are two kinds of the magnolia trees, one called the New York magnolia with smaller petals and another one which is very popular in Texas with large white flowers. WE have had one in the front yard under the suppress of a sweet gum while our neighbor Mark has one shoots up more than two story high. I proudly present to my fellow lady walkers about this new notice of beauty and they all agree with me.

The sweet gum is not a maple with identical shape of leaves also changing colors in the fall. We lost one huge one in the backyard early in January. It costed us $700 to remove the debris. I watch a self broadcasting firm of woodwork on the You Tube, a man cuts a big sweet gum tree, hauls it to his sawmill and slices the log into boards and explains how precious of the wood when reaches to the center. I did see our fallen tree when the tree man cut it to logs and rolled them away. There are different colors inside of the trunk. He did explain the dark pattern in the center. I can now appreciate why the European carpenters make veneer furniture because they like to utilize the precious pattern.

Another popular trees are at least two kinds of oaks, one regular kind with color changed leaves and another one is evergreen yet fallen after the year. They were planted mostly when the house was built. This is a subdivision of about 40 years old. The tree trunks are in good size. When the spring comes, I can see the green leaves coming back and show how pretty of the tree. I pointed it to my neighbor Mike who was walking his pet dog Willy. He said that was not a good wood. I think that what he means is the tree is not hard enough to make a furniture. However, all neighborhood trees are not able to be in any use for the cost of labor in order to make sense. It is just impossible to haul the sawmill into the beautiful front yard to treat the wood without damaging the lawn.

Yet I am still very appreciated of the growth of trees and observing them during my morning walk. There is a famous Chinese proverb, it has taken 10 years to grow a tree and 100 years to grow a man into use. I think that is more appropriate to say at  least 40 years to grow a tree in order to make a furniture or a part of the wood floor and I don't really know if we ever can claim that usage of the manhood.

新闢清晨散步範圍，觀察鄰居庭院美樹，是繼訪愛犬，欣賞庭院花草，修身養性後，新增之福利，中文裏有句曰，十年樹木，百年樹人，形容栽培人材之費時費力，一般社區之巨樹，大約要四，五十年時間之成長，秋後開始變色，掃落葉，初春開始新花葉萌生，與庭院花草爭艷，一日，我和一女鄰居，聊到樹倒善後之經驗，回家後觀看幾節網誌伐木影片，了解一些實際善用樹木之道理。

美國社區開發新建時，建商都會植樹前院，屋主也隨時增填，落子飄落各處，不小心長片全院，飛機降落時，可見一叢叢樹林，間隔建屋藍水泳池，這是美好環境。樹林有益光合作用，釋出氧氣和二氧化碳，調節呼吸空氣，所以清晨散步，感覺上無需口罩。

休市氣候，宜植一種白色木蘭花，我不知此木蘭，為中國史書上之古木蘭，英文曰，瑪格諾尼亞，有兩種，一為白宮周圍庭院之紐約木蘭，一種是我們南方之白朵花木蘭，我們家有一株，西邊緊鄰一株更大衝天，現在佈滿雪白色花朵滿樹，此木蘭花甚大，非常迷人，散步時無法路過不察。

我喜歡書桌，古典美國書桌，是實木制造，十分沉重，看到巨樹，我就回想到舊日之台灣鄉下，村民拾枯枝為柴為燃料用，澳洲是放火燒山，夷為農地用。我們常遇巨樹倒踏，必需花錢處理善後，平常也需要請專人修剪樹枝，以免損及屋瓦，樹蔭可以遮陽，但也奪去花草必需之陽光。

橡樹和香楓也甚常見，二月裏豪雨，搬倒後院巨樹香楓，這香楓能變色和落葉，約是花了我們七百美元，請人鋸下搬走，果然一旁石榴，今年首次開花結實。我在網誌上，看到美國人直播伐木，就是用動力鏈鋸，處理巨木，就是削薄成木板，先是處理一倒下之紅橡，後來直接到樹林伐木，砍下香楓，開始分析紋路，樹心部分是硬木，紋路美麗，他說是要舖地板。

我在旅行紐約和耶魯大學，參觀過藝術館，中有許多美國獨立前後期之傢俱產品，非常美麗有趣，沒有幾十年樹木，那有這些傢俱？美國傢俱業，建築業等，尚無需利用我們社區之倒樹巨幹為建材，蓋人工昂貴也。

One morning, I was walking with my pet dog friend Edda and her owners, David and Joanna down a street. I described how I was benefit from the morning walk routine. I can ignore all what I don't like to hear and see. I can avoid most of my unnecessary stressful intake of my life. Joann understands and tell me that I select my own battlefield. I am so happy to learn such English expression of a great philosophy. I recall a famous question quote and send out my thought to my blog, Is there anything to do with you when the wind blows and makes wave on a pound in the spring? A King asked his deputy to mind his own business almost 1200 years ago.

It is very important to mind our own business especially at age that we are no longer obtain sufficient time to the uninterested staff  in our limited life. Amy tells me her sister's story about her daughter, all bragging about her achievement as a successful child, I ask whether I need to know. I have learned all about this child ever since her birth. There are so many news appeared on the internet, do I need to know? If I don't like it, I really don't need to know.

What I need to know and do is very fundamental, to manage my expenditure in my life well to last for the time remaining in my life, to fill my day with a meaningful life, and keep myself healthy to avoiding the bother to my children, etc. There is no way that I can care as much as I like. My neighbor Amy who is 82, asks Amy to bring her writing for me to read and asks if her mind is still functioning alright. I think that she means the Alzheimer's disease for aging people. I don't think that I need to know too much about it as long as I keep myself occupied. Do I need to worry about such awful disease? No, of course not. If I have it, I'll deal with it and not let it bother me before. I select my own battlefield.

最近，我突然養成一消極之人生觀，凡是我的色受想行識，都必需是我喜歡，或是我想知道者，女鄰居聞言道，此為選擇自己之戰場也，我深為感激其知音，欲將此清晨散步第三項福利，記錄下來，於是我想起中國文學上之一名句，同時也懷年那位授業恩師，侯家駒先生，這句全文是，吹皺一池春水，干卿底事？語出南唐中主李璟，他的兒子，就是鼎鼎大名之李後主李煜，約是一千二百年前之事。

我們人生，永遠面對外務，這些外務，有些是有壓抑性之憂鬱，例如生老病死等八大苦，於是我漸漸習得，該忽視者應忽略，眼不見為淨，不聞雜音，這是自我放逐之先決條件。我把每日生活規律化，早睡早起，散步交遊，午睡寫作，庭院家事，不再與人共爭歲月，這是我的成熟，也是老化。

我實在是時間有限，而且能力有限，也鮮有美夢，凡事往圓滿方向想，可以減少壓抑，只要生活之基本條件不缺，再來就是如何渡過有意義之生活，例如這中國武漢肺炎之突然到來，直接影響到我的郵輪旅行，因為無法出外旅行，所以我就加強我的居家生活，安排能力範圍内之活動，散步衍生庭院花園欣賞，從看花到欣賞樹木，我發現好多人，開始清晨散步，如我如此安排生活，我需要知道許多多餘之雜事？

愛美常有親友故事轉達，我常問道需知否？有趣者為經常是累事，子女從小談到大，我已經不再為川普煩惱，也不再為武漢肺煩惱，干我底事？我又能何為？有益於國家民族？我的結論仍是好好過每日，有意義之人生。

It has been taken term for me to experience the frozen shoulders and suddenly I have a relief of the left frozen shoulder recently. I credit it to my increasing dose of the morning walk. On the other day when I woke up in the morning, the pain of my left shoulder was gone. The only thing which I remembered was that I did swing some on my left shoulder while I was walking.

The frozen shoulder came to my attention some time ago. A continuous pain was occurred on my right shoulder. It is very popular in the community while we call it a 50 years old shoulder and actually is a kind of arthritis. I was advised to swing my infected shoulder mildly to release some pain and after several months the pain was gone. Because of my tennis, the right shoulder is doing better than the left after the attack. I thought my pain on the left would be existed for the rest of my life due to lack of use on the left shoulder. This is indeed a good news to me and I appreciate more of my morning walk habit.

A mild exercises in a day like such as the morning walk can really help my body to renew my old body's function. It is more like a physical examination every day. If I have had a heart issue, I can't complete the walk. I can tell if this long and slow walk is enjoyable or a hard task of my day and I like to avoid. If I am looking forward to the walk every morning, I think that I enjoy it. The relief of the shoulder pain is just a side benefit.

五十肩是一種中年人毛病，就是雙肩輪流發痛，影響睡眠安寧，我先後經過右左兩肩，右肩似乎恢復正常，左肩仍舊舉肩微疼，美國人說是肩膀凍結，最近我清晨散步，偶揮左肩，似乎減少些許疼痛，起床左肩不再給我羞怯警告，不亦樂乎？

平常我打網球，因此，右臂活動瀕瀕，關節不曾冷凍，左臂則否，經常不曾使用，所以五十肩發作後，無隨時之疼痛，但確有一些困擾，如此也相安些時，最近之好轉，我當作是增加清晨徐行之紅利，這是繼清晨拜訪愛犬，改變性格人生觀之第二項福利。

待美國中國武漢肺炎疫情稍解，社區游泳池開放，我可以安排下午游泳，如此有經常性之左臂活動，幫助更大。

Due to this outbreak of the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus Pandemic, I have intensified my morning walk to cover 12 plus streets in the subdivision. One of the most exciting matter is to visit or accompany my pet dogs to walk. I shall add my comment about friendship in addition to what Confucius says about human friendship. He says there are three good friends, straight forward, says what he means, and well learned while there are three bad friends, not sincere yet all about face saving, talks to please you, and only sweet talk yet not real action. Pet dogs friendships have changed my attitude toward the other, or what I mean is my personality. It is huge.

I don't know what have been wrong with myself. I am self center, argumentative, and not easy to finish a conversation without regretful myself of what I have offended to the other; therefore, after so many years frustration myself, I have to retreat myself into my self to be in a self exile, only obtaining few routine daily. Making friends with pet dogs is one of the few. Dogs are friendly especially from a lovely family. Their friendships are very straight forward and they remember you as a friend. They will bark when I am passing by yet day dreaming to remind me that they are waiting. I always talk to them sweetly because that they are really adorable; therefore, there are always honey, sugar, sweetie, etc. coming out from my mouth. When they are walking with their owners, they find me and always insist to wait for me to say hi. I am really impressed of their sincerity.

One morning, I was visiting my favorite pet dog, Forest, who always stays behind the front door to watch dogs and their owners passing by. He sneaked by us and run to another incoming dog. We, the owner and myself, rushed toward the party to prevent any conflict. We tried to get him back home and he was not happy. He refused to take my treat for two days. He spitted it out to show his displeasure. Only after my two days apology, the good relationship of friendship resumes. Dogs have their opinions and very simple and straight forward.

A lady owner of the pet dog has pointed out what the dog's smile looks like. It takes time and experience to see it. The human friendship is more sophisticated and required more determination or become complicated.

最近因中國武漢肺炎肆虐，城市活動封閉，我增加清晨散步之哩數，逛遍社區每一街道，其中包括拜訪鄰居愛犬朋友，與其主人和其愛犬散步，精神愉快，我發現與愛犬為友，獲益甚多，孔子提到之益友損友，均屬人類，不曾達到動物境界，我的結論是，這些年來，結識愛犬，改變了我之個性，也讓我生活較為快樂。

美國家庭，喜歡蓄養愛犬，我曾有過一隻愛犬，十六年半，愛親別離第一件，後來我就注意到，每遇見之所有愛犬，絕大部分之愛犬，都喜歡朋友，愛犬都注意到羨慕者之眼神，主人都提醒同時注意到其搖尾，這是真情流露，不是中文描述中之搖尾祈憐，愛犬之友誼是非常直接，而無轉彎磨角。為了建立此珍貴之友誼，我在主人許可下，開始對愛犬甜言蜜語，稱呼都是美國人對待子女和小孩之暱語，像是蜂蜜，甜心，美麗，英俊，和可敬愛的等等，滿嘴都是甜言蜜語，再也無習惡言相向他人，或是有所爭辯。漸漸地，我開始恢復與人類來往，有一斷因失業多次，滿腹悲憤，離群索居，一直到現在，台灣人社會，尚以為我搬離休士頓，或是老去。

子曰益友三，友直，友諒，友多聞。損友三，友便辟，友善柔，友便佞。實際上，多數社會習慣，不習慣老夫子之忠告，所以有很多人際學問，很多處世道理，我選擇簡易，直接尋找愛犬，解除老年寂寞和孤獨，我發現愛犬有辨識能力，常在我散步白日夢中，喚醒我之注意。

During this Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus Pandemic, we have set a new pasta Saturday to make steam dumplings and buns for Arthur and ourselves. I am the one making the dough to be ready for Amy to finish the product. I am like a man called the old taro fellow in Taiwan. Taro is a root which we eat often in Taiwan as well as in the United States. Texas, Hawaii, and Florida are three major states grow taros. At Kawaii Island, Hawaii, I saw a taro field like the fantasy paradise of the peach blooming garden of the Chinese Classic. In 1949, Chiang Kai-sek brought in about a million collapsed Nationalist Army to Taiwan from China. His regime assigned those literate Chinese refugee to the governmental positions or to serve at all level of schools while fewer space available for the illiteracy. They were forced to run their own proprietorship shops to sell Chinese pasta on the illegal streets ends to earn their living in Taiwan. I don't know the reason why we call them the old taro fellow yet we do call ourselves the sweet potato, due to the shape of the Island. They married the local woman and their children were called Taro Sweet Potato. Now, it is the third or the fourth generation of the taro sweet potato and are all called Taiwanese.

I was drafted to serve in the Nationalist Army for two years after my college at the frontier island of Quemoy off shore of Chinese Fuchien Province. The majority of the army division was original from the coastal area of Chinese San Dong province near Ching Dao City. These old taro fellows love Chinese pasta such as steaming buns in the morning or some noodles meals in the afternoon. I am very fond of Chinese pasta food even though I am a sweet potato eating rice all my life. I did learn how to make a dough for dumplings and buns. I like to watch the pasta making You Tube teaching yet most of those are required additional procedures. Suddenly, a man called the old taro fellow comes to my mind, as a matter of the fact, I have become myself of that man who does the house chore for a younger wife at home.

I can also make a beef soup noodle for Arthur's Sunday meal. I have done such chore for years usually started at noon. My product may not be as good as the restaurant; however, my son is very supportive and encouraging.

週六饅頭日，我幫愛美趕麵，做蒸餃，肉包，和蔥油餅，蒸餃給元兒晚餐，其餘則由我們一週食用，我喜歡甜包，所以紅豆餡包，也在麵食譜内，我說我越來越像台灣之老芋仔，愛美莞爾。台灣之老芋仔，是指隨蔣介石軍隊來台之中國青年抓兵，他們中識字者，分發到學校教書，不識字者，就在街頭巷尾，違章建築中，趕麵做水餃，賣油條，和牛肉麵等，我們在軍中服兵役，頂頭上司，上士以上，都是中國老芋仔，我們台灣充員兵曰蕃薯仔，或菜鳥仔，老芋仔娶蕃薯妻，就在家在店趕麵做麵食，子女謔稱芋仔蕃薯，這些芋仔蕃薯，許多人在台灣各界，都有傑出表現。

我在山東部隊服役兩年，所以接觸過者經驗，多半是山東沿海地帶之芋仔，他們喜歡麵食，所以我們早餐是甜豆漿和饅頭，過年連殺豬，豬隻掛在樹桿上，連兵可以割塊肉，在碉堡包水餃，也許我記錯，碉堡無廚房設備，如何趕麵？我因做人清廉，算術心算都佳，常常被派凌晨上市場買菜，廚房班長，常講山東口味，麵食中有一味，麵疙瘩，就是滾水中，加入麵粉攪伴，然後加上作料當稀飯，取代黃豆之缺貨。我在郵輪上遇見一些山東姑娘，和她們談起山東伙食，非常親切，我在台灣出生，有許多與老芋仔生活之經驗，酸甜苦辣，不一而盡，老芋仔和習近平這類之近代中國人，有些差異，現在全球各國好事者，都知道如何激怒中國政權，就是提起台灣獨立，香港獨立等，所謂之國土分裂之不神聖。

昨日大雨，清晨開始趕麵，不知何故，麵就是發酵不佳，竇家夫婦又親自送鮮魚來，我又馬上取出笨刀和斧頭等出來清魚，網路技師前來修理斷線網路，忙得不亦樂乎，我將紅豆包蒸熟，元兒水餃已由愛美做好，我就外出散步去也，遇到幾隻愛犬，心情愉快，回家後，愛美有微詞，做甜包，麵不發，又接受贈魚，佔滿凍庫等等，愛美尚未脫離苦境，嫁給一貼心之老芋仔，尚且不知福。

Our home internet is disconnected due to unknown reason. The provider sent a new modem and is still on and off. We cancelled a service appointment when the the internet was back on again. Now, we must wait till the office of the provider open again to request another help. Life without the internet is very annoying because we have relied on so much of the internet to access information and manage our daily routine.

I depend on the internet to live my way of life in self exile. I don't hock on the computer games yet I repeatedly watching internet programs such as the Yahoo news, finance, counting my blog site readers worldwide, watching the You Tube, managing my banking account, calculating my retirement portfolio when the market is up for several days, and managing so much change of the current world, etc.

My other internet disconnected experience is on board of a cruise. The internet rate provided on the cruise ship is so expensive, one U.S. dollar a minute, or I have to purchase a package for a use of certain time. Another annoy is that the connection on the ocean is bad and often very much slower with the computer which the ship is provided. Now, I carry an i-phone to the shore to find a free WiFi connection to send an e-mail home. I can also use the i-phone to listen to You Tube Music while waiting at the airport.

Now, I can't go to cruise because of the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus Pandemic. I feel safer to stay home than flying or cruse around the world. I can get out yet I am not sure if I can return home accordingly. At home, at least I can manage my response to the pandemic much better than away from home. I just need to keep on calling the provider to get my internet connected.

It has been raining and I need to change my Saturday dough making schedule since I can't go out to take my morning walk, Amy is going out to a birthday party. Arthur's dumpling meal is ready from last week. I have a whole day to make the pasta.

Amy and Arthur both discuss the matter with me to see when we can get the checks. I know that Arthur will get it faster than us due to the 2018 adjust gross income.

One day, Amy came to me that her church sisters offered a group application for that IRS application to add our banking information and I ignored her because that I didn't like to share my banking information with her church group and also my 2018 AGI. Then she came to me for our 2018 AGI and I asked her to check herself. Finally, she says everybody likes to get the check faster and I am upset for her annoying me. I scare her that if the IRS obtains our joint banking account information, she will have a threat from the IRS to get the tax she owes directly from her bank accounts like the child support, etc. Arthur got his check on that day.

It is a different story in Taiwan and also more confusion overall. As I understand from my watching of the Taiwanese Political Talk Shows like our CNN and MSNBC in the States. The Premier Su announced his plan to distribute the helping money a night before people could apply for such help check. On the next morning, the local government offices were crowded with anxious citizens to apply such checks amd the local government office clerks were overwhelmed. People got angry and the media fan the turmoil even further. The Premier has to come out and apology. I later watched a ruling party city council lady's explanation of such fund's qualification and some other government help funds for the pandemic. I believe that Taiwanese National Government try to help and the motive is noble and great. Taiwanese anxiety is very common both in Taiwan and in the U.S. like Amy.

I love the history and I am very sure that such money release from a National Government is the first in time between the U.S. and Taiwan. I know that the U.S. Federal Government is more generous than Taiwan; however, Taiwan at least attempts to reach a level like the U.S. and some other advanced and well developed nations. I don't have more information about Japan and I think Japanese release fund check is higher the $1,200 per person.

因為中國武漢肺炎之衝擊經濟，美國和台灣政府，都有疏困計劃，比較箸名者為，美國之每人一千二美元，和台灣之每人一萬新台幣，約三百三十三美元，兩國都有更多之疏困方案和對策，主要目的是經濟之復甦，美國這一筆，放放有限制，財政部早就公佈誰可領到，誰可先領到，我讀了新聞，然後判斷我應該在九月可以領到，但實際上發放速度很快，美國政府一向大方，無出納之吝壞習慣，如想加速領取，也可以在國稅局網頁，補輸入私人支票帳戶資料，國稅局可以直接轉帳到戶頭，我不急此款，所以按兵不動，愛美甚急，因為其姊唆使，要我跟進其教會姊妹，一起申請，我不願意，後來她又來查2018年之總收入，我更不耐煩，所以訓她一頓，我是理直氣壯。

這一千二，我也是馬上要交還國稅局，因為我們還是有收入，還是需要預交2020年之所得稅，而且一千二在銀行，也不生利息，快領到一千二者，顯示你之2018年收入情況，這是有礙顏面者也，就是我早領到，我也要說尚未領到，或是責怪國稅局弄錯，一切的一切，都不應該前來煩我，我也從來不表清高，表示不拿，不拿白不拿，讓川普手伸入，建築墨西哥萬里長城，豈不怨嘆？

台灣政府之疏困一萬新台幣，倉促上路，有很多規定，我了解這是為小生意個體戶，因為中國武漢肺炎衝擊之救急款，台灣物價不俗，一萬元新台幣，聊勝於無，但也走不很遠，若非規定者，無法領到，也無需生氣，更不可刺頸自殘以明不滿之志，幸好此話題，僅熱兩日，一切都依法辦理。

我較費解者為，世界經濟能迅速過關乎？流行病毒有解乎？我能戴口罩保身乎？我查看歷史，美政府如此發錢給國民，合格子女也是五百美元，這是第一次，台灣加上中華民國五千年歷史，如此程度之發錢給小商人等，也是創舉。

網路之於近代生活，有若飲食起居，網路斷線時，生活開始不便，規律生活中斷，我可以不看報紙雜誌電視等，因我可以仰賴網路新聞，網誌，寫信不需郵寄，只需處理電子郵件，斷線時，我無法管理銀行帳戶，真是不方便。

幾週來，我之網路連接，已經開始有中斷訊息，愛美和元兒，不曾有顯箸抱怨，街上有電話公司技工，在挖土裝修電話線站，我以為原因如此，直到前日，愛美受不了臨時中斷，打電話求救，電話公司職員判斷是網路連接器故障，因此翌日寄來新器，依舊器連接新器，打上密碼，仍舊無效，公司職員裁定，送一技工前來，再隔一天，但手機突然可以看網誌聽音樂等，仍舊非常不便。

郵輪旅行時，網路也中斷，因為郵輪網路連接要錢，一分鐘一美金，而且海洋上通訊品質甚差，若在路地旅行，網路連接，較為方便，很多地方免費提供連接，有些是一杯咖啡之購買，在家裏就是網路訂閱，手機訂用較貴，現在都是貝爾公司所有，一故障就是一系列。

感謝主，凌晨三人都醒，愛美發現斷線已接，她連忙在線上支付信用卡，我也需離開作文，將三篇文章上網部落格。

My son Arthur has a second successful cataract procedure which has made his vision almost perfect except reading and astigmatism that also can be corrected with a new pair of spectacle. I am so happy for him and always asking him about his feeling of the surgery. He asks me if the unwanted white membrane can be grown back to make the eye blurred again.
I doubt it because the new in plant lens are artificial while the old cataract is natural. I find an old home medical encyclopedia for him to check. I also told him that the cataract procedure was developed 4,000 years ago in Asian India. One of my eye surgeon was an Asian Indian and he sanctioned my knowledge from that encyclopedia with an additional information that there was no anesthesia at that time.

Yes, Arthur also told me after his reading and there was no replacement lens available at that time. That basic procedure was only to remove the unwanted white membrane to make the cataract a little bit clear. After the painful surgery, the patient would use a magnifier to see and read. Of course it can't be far in distance yet better than nothing. Based on the age of the book, he estimated that artificial lens was only available in 1960. He gives me his thought of the lens.

He has always worn glasses ever since his birth. He doesn't like bi-focus lens at all; therefore, he doesn't mind that I select the basic one dimension lens to correct the myopia, or the short sight vision. It does bother me when I use bi-focus lens to read and drive because that I have to flip my eyes often.

It is very nice that there is an insurance policy available to manage the cost of the procedure. We make an affordable payment with a help of our employers or the IRS under the Obama Care. Otherwise, we have to arrange a medical trip to some other cost less nations to get it done. After we get our better vision, we appreciate more of the modern medical technology and the insurance idea.

I can tell a lovely pet dog with an issue of the cataract. Usually, the owners would tell me that they lost their vision and I would look at their swollen eyes eye ball with cloudy material. This is usually seen on a elderly small dog. Most of the owners have just leaved them alone without considering the surgery and I also doubt if there is such technology to apply to such procedure with dogs. I did see see one lovely dog yesterday while walking on our street. This honey came to me and I saw his eyes and identify his cataract. The owners did send him to a veterinarian for the procedure and it was failed. The liquid, possibly water, grows back on his eye. It might be a lack of demand; therefore, the procedure is not as popular in the dog world than in human. It is also to consider the longevity issue and the value of life between dogs and human life, don't you think?

昨天，元兒收到國稅局寄來，因中國武漢肺炎災害，美國政府之一千二美元補助支票，早上我還跟他討論白内障一事，他尚問到支票，不想下午就收到，我連忙開張張六百五支票給他，先預支我的一千二，幫他交這次白内障手術自備款，是這樣的，他辛苦在超市上班，取得工會健康保險，出了大部分手術費，手術又成功，眼視力變成絕佳，他問我白内障是否會再長回？於是我找出一本舊家庭醫學百科全書，提到古印度醫學文明之歷史記錄，印度在約三千五百年前，就有白内障手術，我左眼手術失敗之亞裔印度醫生，也知此歷史曰，當年無麻醉劑，因此非常疼痛，元兒迅速讀畢曰，當年古手術，僅清除白内障，而無今日之人工鏡片植入，所以患者手術後，需要有放大鏡幫助。

提到放大鏡，他說老花眼鏡就是小放大鏡耳，他需要配一散光眼鏡，若開車遠視，則視力可以開飛機，這是台灣之老說法，說是近視眼學生，不能就學空軍官校云云，因為近視眼鏡，無法矯正視力到20/20，現在白内障人工鏡片，植入眼球中，比隱型眼鏡更固定，更衛生，幾乎無感染之慮，所以眼醫要求手術翌日檢查，然後兩週後再看一次，有無發炎即可。

這人工鏡片，他看書後估計，約在1950年後始完成，而且日益更新，我兩眼手術相隔十七年，眼醫都無法找到相同鏡片，舊鏡片已經被淘汰。我看遠處無問題，讀書則需要老花眼鏡，他說無妨，因為老花眼或散光鏡片包括在内，就像雙層眼鏡，他不喜歡，我也不喜歡，不如單遍直接看遠方，讀書戴老花眼。我真要感激保險制度，美國有三千萬人，沒有健保，台灣也有窮人無法交保費，這是國家問題，愛美再過一年半，就可以加入老人健保，可以稍放心些許。

小愛犬長壽，年長後就長白内障失明，可以明顯看出，僅賴嗅覺聽覺等，辨識來者，我常奢望一日，獸醫也能發明普遍之犬白内障手術，也有愛犬健康保險，當然不想有人濫用保險，無病呻吟。

Last Saturday was a busy day for me during a lock down life of the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus pandemic. We finished our first Saturday tennis after 8 weeks at Bendwood Park and I continued to my regular chore to make dough for Amy to make some pasta for Arthur's dumpling, our steaming bun, and the onion bread. During my maneuvering on the dining table, my tennis partner Tony informed me to deliver a large life fish to me if I liked. I don't mind at all and it is a life grass carp which if very common now in this part of the United States. The State authority introduced this Asian carp long time ago to clean the mess of lakes with unwanted grasses and algae. Now, they are expanding to the rivers all over certain parts of the Southeast of Middle west parts of the U.S. threatening the original species of marine life. Some States even set up policy to prevent them to enter the Great lakes.

The one I received was about 15 pounds weight and I also was encourage to take an additional cat fish to help him to release the burden. I have watched some You Tube direct broadcasting about carp's cooking in the rural Chinese village and learned how to remove the fish scale by using the front edge of the rectangular knife by piling off the scale. It is messy from the beginning followed by the chopping off the head, the tail and removing the intestine. I don't have a butcher's knife at home that makes very difficult to get the job done. The fish was separated into three parts, one for Amy's elder sister in Sugar Land and we kept two plus the clean cat fish in the freezer for the future Miso soup making.

The U.S. is a country of abundance. There are plenty of foods to eat and some of them are free. I have done some free fruits picking, receiving free chives, and fishes, etc. There are some good memories for a person like me brought up from a humble background. I have enjoyed very much of my senior life in this community which is much longer than where I come from.

昨日繁忙，做麵食間有電話來，不及答話，原來是球友通知，將贈活魚一尾，我不好婉拒，原來是尾大草魚，或是大鯉魚，因為有金黃魚尾，這些草魚，當年由亞洲引入德州和美國，目的是清除湖水中之浮草和雜質水藻類等，幾十年後，因洪水氾濫，已遍佈許多河川湖泊，繁殖過多，已經為害到原居魚類，五大湖已有警戒，設欄栅阻止侵入，密士西比河，也鼓勵居民捕捉，我們德州也讓嗜釣者，無限制釣取，因美國草魚巨大，並無當年印象中之美味，但我確實受贈多次，也每次處理食用，貨惡其棄於地也。

這魚約重十五磅，我看它尚奔跳不已，真是狠不下殺戮之心，但愛美從來不敢，因此我只能取出大鈍刀，設法磨快，但無成效，只好先用刀前鈍邊，逆魚鱗推下大魚鱗片，這是我在網誌上，觀看中國農村姑娘殺魚技術，把魚頭魚尾剁下，小尖刀破開魚肚，取出腹内五臟，一起埋在椪柑樹下，然後再剁成三塊，一塊送給愛美二姊，其餘兩塊暫時放在凍箱，準備使用在週四之味噌湯，如此算是解決一庒家事。

釣魚很好玩，過去明嘉兄，帶我到自由港鎮海邊釣魚多次，有些海魚可口，也有好友，贈送收穫，明嘉兄身體不適於行，我在街旁檢會幾支釣桿，現在只好當作絲瓜或長豆桿，讓它們攀登樹稍，帶明嘉到落磯山脈，明溪垂釣，惟恐是來世之願矣。

Thursday, I helped Arthur to go to his second cataract procedure. It has been a long set plan to drive him to the eye surgeon's office; therefore, I do not dare to plan to have any trip during these schedule times. It has been delayed due to the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus out break; however, the doctor's office nurse manages to reset the procedure a month later. The community center where I have taken some languages classes informs me for free N-95 masks; therefore, I decide to take advantage of such supply. It is from Henan, China that means masks are available now in the U.S.

I was not allowed to wait inside the waiting room due to the enforcement of the social distance policy. I found a tree shade spot on the parking lot and made myself comfortable. I still had a little bit concern of my i-phone battery volume; therefore, I didn't listen to the You Tube music or any battery consuming usage while attempted to take a nap. Very soon, the surgery room nurse bring out his phone and glasses for me to keep and promised me to send him out when it was done. It is a successful procedure. Now, he has almost perfect vision of eyes except still required eye glasses for his astigmatism which means blurred.

He is 35 years old and is too young in age to be required for such surgery; however, it is nice to have such procedure to correct the make up some vision that he never has had. He is very precious to us as our son. Due to his introverted nature, we insist that he stays with us after his graduation from the college. He has worked at a super market continuously ever since and we feel that he has helped us to define our meaningful life. It is a philosophy of the Buddhism that we help him to have a happier life.

昨日為元兒左眼白内障手術日，這是因中國武漢肺炎流行後，延遅一個月之安排，我也順便臨時改變清晨散步路線，就是先行二區四街，下午再完成一區八街，如此不中斷已養成之生活習慣，街上和超速公路上，車輛通行量仍不若平常，雖然德州號稱恢復正常工作。我順道繞過曼丹厚社區活動中心，免費領取八片外科手術口罩，顯然口罩荒已解除，此口罩工廠在中國河南省。

醫生不讓我陪伴，所以我在停車場等候，我一生都在等候，固也無足為奇，這時候室外氣溫稍高，我找到一樹蔭下，打開兩車窗，讓微風吹入，然後調整車座，像一躺椅以便午睡，不久護士來話，將元兒手機和眼鏡送出曰，元兒已經送入開刀房，這是一小手術，一切都是電腦操作，就是將眼睛内自然鏡片，換上一人工鏡片，可以有全新之視力，像我現在視力，可以開飛機矣，若多些費用，老花眼也可解決。

又過不久，護士打斷我的清幽曰，歩驟完成，要我開車到門口接人，護士問明真人，將元兒推到車旁，手上有兩張注意事項和翌日，手術後檢查，今日半夜，他已完好，裸眼掛上舊眼鏡，不久，他需要再配一散光眼鏡，然後真是有一標準視力之眼睛，白内障手術，早在四千年前，印度之古醫學，就有記載，我鄰居之小號愛犬，也有白内障之礙，只是犬類手術和獸醫，均不普遍，因此，愛犬在老態龍鍾之際，常有失明失聽之憾，但仍舊識得老友，這是非常感動我之處。

The Mayor is a trained surgeon and fully understands the urgency to wear a mask to protect yourself as well as the others. I don't see that in the United States. He has initiated a smart way to manage the incoming visitors from the abroad to stay at newly created certified hotels with grand total of 18 inns with 1,800 beds available. His team has published English edition of the Standard Operation Procedures books for international free down load. He has credited the innovation of his staff and the corporation from the Central Command, for instance, to make masks available on slot machines still following the requiring limit from the Command. He also sets up an alternative for family members coming from abroad to stay at parents' home for the 14 days quarantine while their parents go out to rent a room at the regular inn with about U.S.$84 governmental subsidy, almost free of the cost in Taipei. Taiwan is a Nation of 23 millions and during this pandemic only suffering less than 10 death and 438 infected. Taiwan has preserved her strength for the future recovery.

The fire loss on a high rise KTV facility has created criticism from the media and the council members. He is forced to apologize at a special council meeting. I listen to his details explanation and have my political judgement here. Taiwan is a very young nation of the rule of laws. The mayor of Taipei and the mayor of Houston have almost same issues and population to be faced. I believe that the mayor of Houston is easier to manage the city than him in the city of Taipei. Taiwan has never been experience enough the rule of law. Like he indicates that Taipei can only do the best each time to minimize the cost of the loss and amend the out of date regulations and laws to meet the need of a big city. Of course, he agrees to pursue the negligence of his fire department staff.

昨夜，台北一家電視節目，訪問柯文哲市長，和黃珊珊副市長，談論中國武漢肺炎疫情，台北市政應變策略，非常有趣，我一生有趣於政治，欣賞有為政治工作者，而且相信這些政治家，能像了凡四訓中，描寫之人物一樣，造福人民，柯市長是這類人物，他的市政團隊，表現優異，雖然不為媒體政黨青睞，我始終相信我的看法。明天清晨起，我將開始掛口罩散步，這是聽了兩位台大醫生之分析，台灣和歐美之死傷率分別，在於口罩之掛與不掛，手洗於不洗，在疫苗和解藥尚缺之情況下。

柯市長微前，就是一暢銷書作家，而且也是一哲學家，連李登輝和習進平等顯赫都注意到，他在台北市政，處理肺炎應變上，除派黃副市長應付每日記者會外，也讓行政院之蘇貞昌院長，親自率領陳時中部長，林加龍部長，到台北市觀察防疫旅館，還有外國歸來國人，居家隔離，市民家長外宿一般旅店之辦法，他甚至一一算出一日，兩千五百元政府補助額之内容，這就是八十餘美金一日，在台北可以租到像樣之旅社，免費共渡兩週難關。

我在台北網路政論圖片上，看到紐約居民，在大樓公寓窗戶上，掛布條呼籲科墨州長，幫忙免交房租，柯市長曰，台北市生意下降百分之十五以上之市府房客，可以緩交市府房租一年，他也心算出來市府之成本，約是百分之一之利息，他是智者，又不貪錢，有效運用政府有限之資源。

台北市剛發生火災，死六人，傷愈百人，市府消防隊，接到電話六分鐘，趕到現場，二十七分鐘滅火，這是週日，黃副市長，已經在回答記者會，柯市長遠從屏東枋寮鄉，趕回台北，消防隊之火災報告已經出來，市議會也開專案報告，市長也被迫到歉，非常有趣，然後也提出改進辦法，而且也準備幫死傷市民，法律訴訟，爭求業主賠賞。

我聽看柯市長，應變這武漢肺炎之作法，更加堅定，選出一有智慧者，努力工作者，確實可以有效推動市政，造福市民，我聽聞紐約科墨州長，每日都有詳細報告，多半尚在止血階段，和輸血，開刀等，都需與川普政權，討價還價，當然談不上傷癒後之復健，看到持槍械者，進入密西根州政府，要求盡速開工，非常壓抑。

Our State governor has announced the lock down curb in Texas is eased effective on May 1, 2020 to please Donald Trump's wish to open up the national business. We took the new order happily to resume our Saturday morning tennis at our court. Actually, the court is still locked for safety concern. We, then, drove to a nearby Strafford High School courts to try our luck. The gate is also locked. Then again, we went to Bendwood city park tennis courts and they were occupied and with several couples waiting on the sides. I promised my double partners to check on the gate situation daily till our assumed next meet on Tuesday evening.

It is not safe to re-open our routine life for the time being due to the safety to prevent the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus pandemic. I fully understand that the nation must return to normal business as fast as possible; however, the damage is done enough to change our regular routine even if we like to go back to work and we don't know how fast that we can. A restaurant was open on the first day of curb released and it picture was appeared on the first page of the Wall Street Journal with no customer at all. A few demonstrators carried assault rifles to enter the Michigan Governor's office to demand the open up for their human right or the constitutional right and I didn't know how many of those 27 millions newly unemployment persons can go back to work that fast at all.

I am alright whether it is open up or not. I resume my Saturday morning walk to visit every street in the subdivision, every lovely pet dog on the way, and pretty front yard gardens down to the street. I do my new chore at home on Saturday, to help Amy to make dough for steam buns and dumplings.

德州州長，宣佈五月一日，解除因中國武漢肺炎隔離令，我們四人，準時抵達網球場，但門卡仍舊無法開門，鄰居散步者告知，四人以下運動者，應不再受隔離，但游泳池仍舊關閉，春天天冷，即使休市本尚未開放夏日戶外泳池，於是我們開車到史翠佛特高中，結果球場運動場，仍是深鎖，顯然州長令，尚未貫徹，我們再赴邊林學校旁，市立公園球場，已有兩組人馬使用，旁邊有三組人群等候，於是我們解散回家，我再散步，鄰居是小學老師，告知學校仍舊封閉，網路教學。

網路教學，也十分有趣，媒體從來不提，學生都有電腦和網路可使用？這解除令，沒有想像中之單純，週六華爾街日報頭版，有一休市餐廳，搶先開業，卻空無一人，州長令中，據曰也有明文限制，只能開放四分之一座位，保持社交距離，鄰居愛女，感恩節從金邊返家探親，坐長榮班機，無法在台灣桃園換機，因台灣限制海外客機起落，於是滯留休市。

解除隔離禁令，恢復工作上班，不是持槍械示威抗議，就可以完成，如抗體疫苗和解藥等，無法迅速出現，生命安全，仍有顧慮，許多生意，工廠等，都還無法恢復正常運作，人有工作之人權，但顧主不一定敢開張，其實有些必要之生意，一直都戰戰兢兢之開放，許多人都不停之工作中，只要安全第一，或是生命無慮。

有兩千六百萬美國人，開始申請失業救濟金，當然解除隔離令，恢復上班，可以幫忙，但欲速則不達，我們還是要有準備，亡羊補牢，不要束手無策。

Saturday tennis again/Carlos Pueblo

Texas Governor releases the lock down order in the State on May first and we shall have our Saturday morning tennis again and Tuesday night tennis back also. It is a good news; however, I still am concerned the Chinese Wuhan Novel Corona Virus and I will have my home made mask available just in case. The mask can at least prevent my mouth get or spit out or in to prevent the risk of infection, secondly, I have an excuse not to save some drop shot from my opponent in order to avoid collision with my partner.

I shall make a little bit change of my morning walk schedule. I shall walk on section II first in the morning and come back home to carry the tennis racket and staff and walk out toward the tennis court which is about two streets distance. After tennis, I shall make up the rest of my morning walk routine. I shall see if I still have such physical condition. I always believe that the exercises is a good physical test to my heart condition.

Amy tells me that there are some dumplings left from last Saturday; therefore, I don't have time restraint to make new ones for Arthur's dinner. My Saturday afternoon chore is very relax, yet I shall add a new menu to make vegetable bun in addition to the original two menu, the onion bread and the steaming buns.

重啟網球局/莊峻華

週二下午，網球伴來話，相約週六重啟網球局，這是因德州解封中國武漢肺炎禁足令之首日，我想其他三位老頭兒，也十分重視此難得之嗜好，我準備攜帶口罩，以備不時之用，而且也不需要拚老命救險球，避免碰撞接觸，球局後，也不需寒暄，講話也保持距離，這是新生活現實。

我正想該如何調整，此新變動，週六是走路上球場？或是開車？顯然我需中斷每日清晨散步，因為網球局後太累，而且又逢週六趕麵，協助製作麵食，又是一整午後活動，想來也真幸福，不久夏天到來，我又可以恢復游泳，我約有二十五年，不曾固定游泳運動，這網球和游泳，都是童年時後，建立起之一生嗜好。

因為我們有困難，維持在史單那老隊長老社區之網球局，於是我再申請我社區之遊憩中心門卡，終於取得一張卡片，可已使用網球場，也可以游泳，我尚有護目鏡，聽愛美說，元兒也有護耳塑膠軟物，我是萬事俱備矣，我的游泳也和清晨散步一般溫和，就是冗長有足夠之能量消耗，完全合乎熱力學之功乘距離，也讓心臟有足夠之血液流通。

我已經過的是一無憂無慮之老年生活，充份善用，這無病痛之老年時光，突然間了解天地運行之道理，許多世事，我均了解，我之能耐，就是我的能和不能，昨日清晨，路過一人行道，遇見一修理電話電纜技工，他先問我原來來自何處？我說台灣後，他始釋然，於是他開始話㕅，肺炎流行病，我肯定是生物戰劑，他已清楚中國對台灣領土之野心，又問我世局又將如何？於是我搬出，1989年一文，中國政權和美國政權，均將滅亡和改變，他說川普將連任，於是我又給他一課，投希菈蕊者，絕對不會轉投川普，討厭川普者，是越來越多，他靜靜聆聽，我覺得我又過一日，有意義之生活，傳播福音。
