My IOL procedure/Carlos Pueblo

 My IOL procedure/Carlos Pueblo

IOL is the Dislocation Intra-Ocular Lens, means the cataract lens move in the eye; therefore, I loss my vision and need to get a surgery. I am very frustrated to loss an eye vision in my daily  life such as playing tennis and reading on everything on the paper. Lucky me my eye specialist doctor refers me to his associate, another specialist to operate it. He removes the old lens with a new one and I am resting at home now.

After my annual eye examination, I searched the cataract lens move on Google. I try to think what is the reason of such dislocation of my left lens. My right eye cataract lens is still very stable even though it has been placed far earlier than the left one. I thought of a fall at the tennis which my head was bumped very hard with an impact, yet, I did have a difficulty to read a credit card three digit code on the back before the bump. When I was on the cruise, I failed miserably to punch i-phone key board in order to get on my security account in order to trade stock that was before the bump. Luck me that I forget to quit the morning tennis because that it is good exercises for my control of my diabetes.

I must admit that I am concerned because of my numbers of such procedure. This is my fourth and the third one on my left eye. I asked the surgeon why I had the IOL and he replied that was my eye structure change. The procedure lasted about 90 minutes basically I felt like another cataract procedure. He removed my old lens and replaced a new one on my eye.

I don't have any pain at all and after two days of the procedure I can feel a better vision than before the procedure. He put a bubble into my left eye and I don't know why yet I do know my first eye specialist came to rescue my firs failed cataract surgery did put a bubble into my left eye and the big bubble broke eventually into small bubbles like small stars and disappeared eventually. I am going to see this surgeon again next Tuesday and he will tell me more of my eye.

Houston is a big city with an excellent medical facility to serve the population. I am lucky that I have the Medicare coverage that I am only required to pay minimum payment. I say my aging health issue is approaching me gradually.
