A front yard library box/Carlos Pueblo

A front yard library box/Carlos Pueblo

My neighbor erects a small library box in his front yard to give away books which he is no longer needs. I like this kind of the American culture which once I have witness at my daughter's Austin neighborhood. I thought that was only for a liberal town such as Austin with such people love to encourage others to read. I have known this family for at least two years since they have moved in to our neighborhood especially after they have a little baby boy Koa. Koa is a name of a camping ground in the U.S. Koa knows me and always likes to talk to me when we meet on the street. He is about two years old.

It is a well built wood box with a glass window which I can open easily to take books out. There are two layers in the box, one with several novels and Koa's large books while a down level are Koa's small size books with hard cover. I know that his mother reads all books to him and those books are below his level now. I am back to read books for the time being and I have read some in history about Germany and Britain come to war and now I am in fabricated novels. I have always loved to read books ever since I can read. I enjoy to be associated with people who are well read.

People give me books which they no longer read and I also like to purchase some books in surplus. There are many books shelves at home either built in or books cabinets in order to keep away from the dust. It looks like that I am a well learned people and I hope so. I have had some concerns with those books which I love very much once I am away eventually. Both of my children don't know Chinese language or may be they will enjoy my English collection.
