 The case of Tai-Chi Mon tax evasion/Carlos Pueblo

Tai-Chi Mon tax evasion has been brought to my attention for more than 10 years. I have had two distinguished college classmates who are disciples of this Chi Kong master Hong who has more than twenty thousand followers. Each follower was expected to pay him to learn such exercises and meditation. He insists such fee is non taxable and if there is any issue out of it, the student should pay for it according to the tax law of the Republic of China. I believe that is also the argument of James Soong, a famous former of Taiwan Governor who has several tax evasion cases against him. Hong's penalty is about one hundred million U.S. dollars and is not the end of the story, he is in exile to avoid further legal issues on him.

I am an outsider and not supposed to get involved in to it, yet I do voice my opinion about it. I don't believe Master Hong is wise to manage his case. Once I get involved in tax audit, I pay the full amount of the penalty immediately and no principle involved what so ever. It is because of the compound interest on the penalty which I don't like to face to. I will pay the penalty and move my life forward. Luckily I don't have that much of penalty each time I have been involved. IRS of Taiwan or the U.S. explains the tax law not us, the private citizen as well as the corporation and most of the time the judge sides it with IRS. I don't believe that the bonus of the IRS employee is the main reason of this case. 

This year on our old classmates' line group, again my two classmates of Tai-Chi Mon have brought up the same issue to us and I have had a feeling that it is not settled. I expressed my opinion again and ask them to advise their master to settle with Taiwanese Government which may be too late. At least, Ho can still practice his Tai-Chi Mon which is also has a religious non taxable status. If he still insists his way, he will go no where for the rest of his life. Many rich people also don't like to pay tax, they put the money into the charity to less their tax burden instead of paying U.S. to use the money to fight in Afghanistan or paying the unemployment social benefit, etc. We can't do nothing while still are making huge income. You can't be like Trump paying no tax for twenty years while is still making tons money as he claims himself. He can afford to hire the best attorney firm to defend him and we'll see how much of such cost and how he can get out of it. 

I pay attention to Tai-Chi Mon case simply because I respect my two good classmates and I am telling the truth. We are the people ruled by the law of the government and we pay tax and make our income peacefully.

最近我在舊日大學同學群組，又二度和同學爭辯，台灣太極門稅案怨曲，我在多年前，好事捲入該案，為文表達意見，收藏於本部落格，去年剛加入群組，又捲入爭辯，今年又再抬槓一次，我以為早應結束辯論，但見越辯越厲，毫無結束之跡象，好像我在替我我討厭的中華民國政府辯護，我亦邀請太極門掌門人，加入討伐該國行列不果，我看現在演變到該門徒弟，全球控訴，呼天搶地，令人難過。我的了解是，太極門掌門人洪石，被中華民國國稅局查稅，國民黨馬英九時代，罰款30億新台幣，就是一億美金，我剛才查一下資料，這是拙作台灣政治近況，12／29／2010版，有位讀者說我不懂台灣稅法，這次，我直接道破洪掌門人之不智。

洪若早日妥協，就無需逃離台灣，繼續在台灣經營太極門，繼續有優厚之敬師金，繼續教授氣功，自我放逐後，就沒有如此機會，而且我敦促同學中學識淵博之博士牧師，前來拯救這位困惑之同學，示以耶穌之貢金說，牧師不願介入，引來另一博士比諭，同情憐憫，神入，和漠不關心，我查詞典，也藉此引用比諭幾項政治，宗教，宗族，文化，和文學之爭論。

我無意說服任何人，只是我生性好辯，樂此不疲，我深知如此抬槓甚累，但又忍不住，情不自禁。

Taiwan is an independent nation in this world, any person with a slightly human would respect such human right for Taiwanese. Taiwanese are unfortunate with Chinese as their neighbor while Chinese have been even worse worse ruled by Chinese Communist bandits for more than 72 years.

Current Beijing China regime insists Taiwan is a part of China, yet Taiwan has never been ruled by that China but another China called Chinese Taipei or I call it Taipei China, the Republic of China ROC for short like Russia in 2020 Tokyo Olympic. Even the U.S. has obeyed Chinese demand to respect that there is only one China policy, yet there are at least two China, Beijing China and Taipei China as I call it.

The inhumane Chinese insist that Taiwan must under their pleasure to purchase Pfizer vaccine from Germany for a current example to shame Taiwan. Once there was an international academic meeting, Chinese attempted to stop and shame Taiwan representative again like in the World Health Organization in Tel Aviv, Israel. The organizer asked China if they can tax Taiwanese people in Taiwan. Now for some reason, Israel has sided with China's one China policy.

After the Wuhan Corona Virus Pandemic, the whole world pay attention to how evil Chinese Communist Bandits are. Gradually, the whole world pay attention to the existence of 24 million Taiwanese, their right to be existed. Taiwanese President Tsai In-wen sent four French Phantom fighter jets to escort three young Taiwanese gold and silver medalists from Tokyo, Japan to avoid Chinese fighter jets harassment because they raise the issue of the Chinese Taipei and wish their national name to be Taiwan, a very humble desire.

I have been away from Taiwan and a naturalized U.S. citizen, yet Taiwan is an island where my ancestors live. I hope eventually one day Taiwan will be respected as a nation.

台灣是一獨立自主的國家，稍有人性者，都能尊重此人權，台灣人不幸有中國人惡鄰，中國人更不幸為共匪統治七十二年。

中國北京共匪政權，聲稱一個中國，台灣是中國背叛之一省，是中國神聖不可分割之一部分，過去以色列人詢問中國官員，中國可以在台灣課稅？中國後來一一買收世界各國，包括美國和日本，台灣處境艱困，還好台灣民進黨，推翻中國國民黨，獲得執政權，世界各國已漸漸恢復人性，感覺到兩千四百萬台灣人之存在，尤其在香港淪陷後，香港居民之掙扎，還有中國境內，被共匪政權蹂躪之中國人民。

中國人鮮有同情台灣人處境者，不認為併吞台灣是違反人道之行為，因為中國歷史，並無人權這回事，中國人永遠是統治者之奴隸，是統治者之家禽家畜，即使到今日21世紀，中國人被專制政權統治五千年，中國人毫無異議，所以說中國人，不是好鄰居，近代中國人，被共匪統治72年更慘，共匪是蔣介石語，蓋毛澤東武裝叛亂，執政後一直未經選民授權，因為中國共產黨不承認民選政府，不承認私人土地，私人財產等，非常蠻橫。

我離開台灣已有46年，台灣是我出生之地，我的祖先活命生存之寶島，我不關心，還是人嗎？

Recently, Taiwan has been a hot topic for people to discuss an independent nation in Asia across the mainland China with the Formosan Straight. I was born in Taiwan until age 28 and have been a devoted Taiwan Independent Movement ever since immigrated to the United States. I am so happy that we have come to a long way to reach the status of Taiwan. I have joined a line group of my old classmates and been very active in discussion. On July 10, this year, there was a brief note of post on our group. A female classmate posted two simple words, a natural independent and a born independent which are basically the same as to be the old Taiwan independent like I have always been. I immediately posted a brief statement on our line group. Taiwan is an independent nation, unfortunately with a bad neighbor, China; Chinese are in even worse condition under the Communist regime's rule for 72 years.

The Chinese Communist prohibit any kind of nation separation thinking. They even have a National territory separation law to punish people with my idea of Taiwan Independent with death. Fortunately I am a naturalized U.S. citizen under the protection of the U.S. law and I am very careful not to touch land in any Chinese territory including Hong Kong. Now, I even refuse to enter any nation which states that Taiwan is a province of China. Of course, they don't care of me, a small person yet this is my principle.

Right in July, this year, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo repeated our Taiwan Independent slogan that Taiwan has never been a part of China. He does his home work and it is very important. Taiwan has never been a part of China. China has no right what so ever to claim that Taiwan is a part of China.

During the 2020 Olympic held in Tokyo this year. Two gold medalists and one silver medalist protested the team name as Chinese Taipei and not Taiwan. The whole world took the note and Madam President Tsai sent four French Phantom fighter jets to escort their return to Taiwan from Tokyo. She doesn't want the Chinese fighter jets to harass them.

I am just on my way to debate a Chinese American classmate about the nation of Taiwan. It is very interesting and I feel so proud of myself and I am going to write every piece of our discussion.AC

最近全球運動界，因台灣年輕得獎選手，要求正名台灣，不是台北中國，引起大風浪，我甚覺有趣，我剛好在我大學同班群組，有類似一系列之爭辯，題目甚多，我將爭辯內容存檔，準備一一寫在我的部落格，今日為八月四日，台獨議題在我們群組出現，是在七月十日，有台灣獨立正式宣佈存在，是在一九四七年，二二八滅種屠殺之後，應有七十四年歷史，我到美國後，才敢支持台獨看法。

七月十日，有位女同學，有意無意在群組，提上天然獨，自然獨。我不加思考，立刻回提，台灣是一獨立自主之國家，稍有人性者，都能尊重此人權，台灣人不幸有中國人惡鄰。中國人更不幸為共匪所統治七十年。我很驕傲在短時間內，可以併行簡短幾句，於是我就等待，伺機辯論此題，結果群組一片平靜，我知道風浪即將到來，只是不同方式而然。台灣國家定位論，在主張台灣獨立者而言，是一生之信念，一生之思考，是政治，是經濟，是宗教，是信仰，是文學等等，我提到人信，中國人不敢思考此話題，認為這是一件大逆不道之課題，世界上只有一個中國，台灣是中國神聖不可分割之一省，現在很多世界聞人，關心台灣，攝取台灣歷史，均有共識，台灣自古不屬中國，最顯著之近例，為美國前國務卿龐畢奧，他講的是台獨反抗台灣殖民宗主國，蔣介石中華民國之根本理論，我查詞典，滿清帝國征服鄭氏台灣在1683年，台灣一直是滿清帝國之殖民地，一直到1887年，滿清始在台灣設立行省，1895年滿清戰敗，割讓台灣給大日本帝國，李鴻章說服滿清，台灣不是中國之領土，只不過是一鳥不語，花不香，男無情，女無義之孤島。中華民國奉美國麥帥紙令，坐美軍運輸艦，來台接收日本台灣，蔣介石在中國潰敗，逃難到台灣，於是台灣成為中華民國之殖民地，一直到1996年，台灣有總統直選。

台灣奧運得獎選手，逼出很多台灣認同者，蔡英文政府空軍，派出四架法國製造幻象戰機，凌空護架放砲選手返台，為中國戰機騷擾，我覺甚為有趣。

 My old college classmates line platform/Carlos Pueblo

It has been almost a year since I have been invited to join a line group of my old college classmates to have a platform to chat and mostly information exchange. There are two church preaching almost daily, music introductions, and some others. I am an opinionated person and very soon I get into an argument of Donald Trump's re-election. I kept on criticizing him that made most of my classmates unhappy. A classmate criticized me for an untrue story of my sorry and disappointed statement at the commencement day half a century ago for the second time. I have written several of my memory of my sorry college days on this blog; therefore, I made a decision to withdraw from the line group. I got caught by our current day head of the class. He asked me to accept the invitation again to join the group and I did, yet I deleted the message when I received it.

One day, I received a message of two identical words nowadays in Taiwan about Taiwan Independent, natural independent and born independent which is my life time favorite political subject. I wrote a brief statement on the platform and sent it. Taiwan is an independent nation that all man with a minimum humanity should respect this fact. Taiwan has a worst neighbor, China while Chinese are most unfortunate under the inhumane Chinese Communist rule for seventy years. This statement has agitated a series political, religious, literature arguments among us. It gets personal and I fight back like a hell. 

I save all my statements and intend to share with you on my blog. I am back to my normal writing now. This is my part of opinion toward the complicate issues bothered from my parents time so far. I feel most appreciated for the opportunity to express myself briefly on our college classmates platform and clearly on my blog.
