A week after the Great Stock Crashed./Carlos Pueblo The first 100 day of the second Donald Trump's second U.S. Presidency is the Second Great Stock Crashed after the 1929. It's predicated that the U.S. is centering a recession if not in the second Depression; however, I see a little bit of up tick on the market for a week after the crash. I do check on my portfolio every night and I notice the significance of movement that my lost is eliminated by more than a half and I am more of a released in my stressful mind. Obviously the FDR's rescue policies after the Great Depression such as the 1935 Security Law Act., the Social Security Benefits, and the FDIC are all put into good use this time. As I carefully evaluate the crashes and my security holdings, I realize that I do own certain portion of the U.S. Companies. We may have the worst President yet I don't believe my savings of the diversified investments are all running by the idiot like Donald Trump! Plus, I have been unemployed for a long time and I am old, Do I have another choice?After I cashed some holdings, I must stay in the marketand wait for my next opportunity. Of course, I bet the U.S. Economy is still very sounding and alive. Social Security benefits and the FDIC are both insurance products as well as President Johnson's Medicare. With these three coverages, I can't think that anything else would bother me for the time being. I believe that most people have the same conclusion and that is why the market stopping the crashing for a week. We're expecting the U.S. Economy will lead the depressed World Economy out of this trap from Trump. I don't have to tell Trump and his MAGA supporters what I am thinking of, they are not interested . I saw some years or more than one year that Clinton, Obama, and Biden Administrations that the U.S. annual revenues are higher than expanses and the Federal Government doesn't bother to pay back the piling National Debt. I can't understand the reason why and can only think the homeconomics and the national economic are very different to manage.

股市崩盤後一週/莊峻華 川普上台後，美國股市大崩盤，也帶動消條，原來國家總生產額是正百分之三，現在是負百分之零點三， 幾週來我都在注意股市，希望看到股市止跌，果然近幾日，股市有回昇，票面的損失，漸漸地減少了一些， 大約是百分之十，這是好消息，雖然無法脫離險境，但已經可以釋然等待，我相信美國的企業內人才濟濟， 遠比共和黨人能幹甚多，而且羅斯福總統時代，制定下來的法令制度，已經發揮作用，拯救了此次危機， 我說是1935年的證券交易法，社會福利金，聯邦儲蓄保險法等，幾乎都奏效. 先說1935年的證券交易法，保障股市交易的公正，維持投資者的市場信心，像內線交易的腐敗，有法律的規 範. 社會福利金是一個保險制度，保障退休者老年收入，這項保險年金，可以解決年老退休者之基本收入， 而且有聯邦政府的保證，共和黨人膽敢取消如此保證，就不要讓他們執政. 聯邦儲蓄金保險，也是聯邦保證 銀行內的存款，就是川普繼續倒閉銀行，銀行內存款有一定數量的的保險. 民主黨的詹森總統，更是制定老 人健康保險，這次股市崩盤，我就不曾憂慮過健康保險，因為我相信美國的老人健保制度. 過去美國的股市，偶爾有小崩盤，像1987年10月19日，共和黨雷根總統任內的大崩盤，10年後證券界有結論， 因為聯邦和民間企業在強有限的資金，後來美聯署就大量印錢來疏困，所以美國的國債大量增加，但聯邦一直 到付得起利息，一直拖下去還債，民主黨的克林頓和歐巴瑪總統時代，經濟繁榮，短暫幾年有盈餘，但均不見 聯邦還債，共和黨人執政，從來不見聯邦有收支平衡過，因為共和黨人總統都為高收入者減稅，又發動戰爭. 關稅戰是一種購買稅，美國有很多的產物，無法在美國生產，像拜登總統任內，失業率低於百分之四，經濟學 上定義為全民就業，美國找不到多餘的人，來從事生產，很多勞動力密集，需要勤苦耐勞者，美國沒有如此多 人，美國只能發展高科技人才，但美國的學校無法造就如此多的工作者，這是事實. 川普不學無術，又剛閉自 用，好大喜功，我們只好開始吃苦矣！

How do I respond to the stock market?/Carlos Pueblo The stock market has crashed right after President Trump comes back to the power. He has posted higher tariffs on every nation in the world which does exporting business with the United States. The stock market is crushed in the scale of the 1929 Grest Depression. It takes a while for me to respond such man made peril. I immediately cashed out 500 shares of an oil stock into my cash reserve; I take a close look at my pension portfolios; and I have decided to cut back my spending. I was not alerted to the Trump's coming back to power. I don't move at all on any of my holding into cash. I thought that U.S. Economy is much more strong than Trump's Presidency. I didn't realize he could bankrupt U.S. Economy single handedness. I am wrong and running scared. Selling the oil stock is my only reasonable choice, I bought it for that price and sold it at the same price while most of my holding of mutual funds and stocks were 25% down. Eventhough I am not working, I do have the social security income, a small amount of an old company's cash payout, a mortgage income from my daughter, and a requirement minimum distribution income which is the account of that cashed oil stock and a high tech stock. I believe that with such cash reserve at hand, I can be survival until 2026. Both of the Social Security Benefits and the Federal Dipository Insurance Plan are the products of the 1929 Depression. My entire life savings and investments are in several mutual funds under professional management that I mean there are funds managers whom we pay them handsome management fees. I don't think that I can do beter than them. I am too old to work again and I must rely on them to make incomes for me. I am still betting on the high technology funds because those are still the strong fields which the U.S. is good at. I am from a very humble backgrounds and it is not difficult for me to go back to the frugality again. I understand the inflation and the diminishing of the U.S. dollars. It won't bother me if I don't spend and I just go to the basic.

對付股市崩盤/莊峻華 年初川普總統上台，美國股市迅速崩盤，令我措手不及，當時我手上現金有限，於是我開始準備對付股市崩盤， 第一需要兌現一筆現金，以供家用，第二，仔細審查退休金投資策略，是否需要的調？第三，減少不必要的支出. 我們是有一筆現金，借給佳琳蓋豪宅，她每月交付予利息，加上我的社會福利金，一小筆保險公司權利年金， 大蓋可以應付我每月的生活費，現金是年度的稅捐，大額支出，像旅行購置新車等，剛好我有機會賣掉五百股 石油股，取得一筆現金，所以我就內心無懼矣. 我已經無工作收入，因此僅賴退休金，賣掉的石油股是退休金帳戶，可以依規定領出，交完所得稅後家用， 大部分的退休基金，雖然跌價縮水，但大部分為專家經營管理，我也只能說相信美國股市，仰賴股市回昇， 若美國末日到來，美金崩潰，都怪川普總統，他甚老邁，也會煩惱死去，或是四年後不再連任，我尚有存活 的機會. 我出身貧窮，一生節儉，所以我要開始減少不必要的支出，注意身體健康，保持精神愉快，度過此不必要的 難關.

Writing again

Writing again/Carlos Pueblo I did have a problem to set up a Chuin Keyboard on my newly purchase desktop computer which was in August, 2024. It did interrupted my writing in Chinese language in the consequence , I stopped my English writing as well. My senior life has been changed dramatically and lost my ways of life thereafter.Now, I decide to find a way to solve it. I shall type on my old i-phone and email it to my self and up loading it to my blog. The first edition was done two hours ago and I got a response from a reader. I am going back to a cruise trip in Alaska next week and I shall write on my stressful life of the stocks downfalls and my immediate response to it. I shall write about our trip to Japan in the spring and of course, all my management of my senior life in Houston, Texas.

恢復作文/莊峻華 因新電腦無法設定注音鍵盤，因此被破中斷我的中文作文，這是去年八月的事，現在我準備克服此困難， 恢復作文，我先在舊手機裏中文書信給自己，然後寄給我自己，在桌型電腦上， 上傳到我的部落格網頁，於是恢復原狀. 每日作文是我的生活習慣，我將我的作文發表在我的部落格，也引起了一些讀者的注意，讓我有些成就感， 老年生活中有些寄托，有些意義，尤其在這千變萬化的世界，確實是有人感到興趣，這是件有意義的老年生活.
