Finally, I have my first opportunity of passing through the Panama Canal

and will be in the weekend. I text my Spanish teacher for my regret of missing

her class on Saturday yet I am going to take my Spanish final among those

Spanish speaking ports which I am passing by. I also inform Rhea of my coming

to the Star to see her; however, she is on vacation in Manila and is not going

back to the Star but the Bliss. I double check it that my ship is the Bliss not the

Star after all. I shall miss her, she will get on the ship when I disembark in Los

Angeles on the same day.

I am going to send my e-mail to some of my daughters on board to say hello

and I may see them again on the ship as often as the cruise liner to transfer

their job assignment. Just 9 days after I come back home and a quick trip to

Austin, Texas to do my house chore for Michelle, I am taking off again to

England for 4 weeks. I ask Justin, my cruise agent to monitor the Spirit at

Rome for a back to back to avoid some difficulty of land travel. I am getting

Old to do such hardship.

I miss you all and hope to see you again.

今日下午，例査郵輪廣告，發現巴拿馬運河行有特價，於是査機票，

價錢符合所求，於是電話郵輪代理，買下船機兩票，這是一15日海

上旅行，我誤會是星號，通知愛女莉雅，她說要我下船日，始低正確

之極樂號，我仍舊懷念這位美麗甜蜜之姑娘。

此艘郵輪較新較大，以後將跑阿拉斯加線，可搭四千乘客，我想此行

當作我之西語課期中考，所經過海港，都講西語。

回家後，需要馬上到奧斯汀割草，希望採桃，回來後，就準備搭機到

英國，這是四週，我希望能搭上，羅馬啟航之精神號，最好連續兩次

重複一共三週，如此，我就無需到處流浪英國。

Chinkoukulo or Jukoukulo/Carlos Pueblo

When I was at my senior high school, this was in the early 60’s, my

Maiden great uncle told me the Japanese word of Chinkoukulo, literally

means slaves of Chinkouk or Manchu Dynasty. It was because that Taiwan

had been a colony of Manchu Dynasty for generation. According to Chinese

traditional politic, the conquerors are always as masters and the conquered

are always slaves. Citizens or people who are under the dictators’ rule are

belonged to the masters as different classes of slaves. Chinese slaves systems

have been more sophisticated than the western slaves records. There is never

any human right civilization established in any of the Chinese tradition in

history. According to what I read of the report of the United Nations, Slaves

are still existed in China and I have met one self- claimed modern Chinese slave

at Frankfurt International Airport on his way back to China from a Caribbean

construction project. Now, I learn Japanese and I can say it as Jukoukulo, as the

Chinese slave. All Chinese are slaves of the current Communist regime in Beijing.

Before coming to the United States in 1975, I was under the Nationalist Chinese

Rule as a Jukoukulo and the slave master was Chiang Kai-sek who was deceased

In April of that same year before my departure of Taiwan in August yet Taiwan was

still continued under the slave martial laws. I have experience as a Chinese slave for

years. In 1989, Chiang’s son died and a Taiwanese slave succeeded him as a defacto

master, or President of the Republic of China occupied in Taiwan. He gradually improved

the human right condition in Taiwan by lifting the martial laws and held a national

election in 1996 to make a mandate of ruling. Taiwan is still a colony of China, the ROC.

Taiwanese enjoy certain degree of freedom yet still heavy affected by traditional

Chinese slave philosophy among education, media, and basic constitution, etc. Human

Right in Taiwan is much better off than in China under the communist rule.

Recently, the Chinese controlled media in Taiwan advocate the benefit of trade between

Taiwan and China, they call them cross Formosan Straight. Representatives of Hong Kong,

Macau, and China sign import agreement with a newly elected Nationalist Chinese mayor

Of a southern city of Taiwan under a banner of 92 Consensus and One China Two systems.

The KMT, the Nationalist, promote a peace treaty or agreement with China for the future

benefit of Taiwan. Taiwanese concerned have pointed it out the consequence of treaties

with China such as Tibet, Hong Kong, and Macau, etc. I firmly believe that under Chinese

rule we are going to be a slave again, a Jukoukulo of the People Republic ofChnia worse off

than a colony of the ROC.

高中時代在台灣，我就聽聞清國奴一詞，是帝國日本人，形容中國

人，在滿清統治時代之地位，我是看過無數書籍電影，愛新覺羅氏

征服中國，把所有中國人，當作奴隸，這是事實，這些奴隸中，倖

者考取功名，可以在朝廷，取得恭敬磕頭，自稱奴才之官位，所以

日本人稱漢人為清國奴，後來中國解放，共產黨專政，也是將國民

當作奴，和台灣人一樣，都是中國奴，很可憐台灣人，還有一部份

，爭先恐後，想當中國奴。

甚麼是奴？就是過去之征服者，戰勝後人材兩得，土地沒收，現在

之中國，1949年擊潰國民黨蔣介石，全國土地沒收，1987年後，因

為外資開發土地，開始放租沒收土地，就是國民購屋，也是70年為

限，無明法處理如何善後。中國人沒有遷徙自由，北京很多工作機會

但外地人，不能自由出入。貪官污吏，只要容許於共產黨，可以高枕

無憂，比過去中國朝代更腐敗。中國想併吞台灣，好處甚多，甚想如

法泡製中國，西藏，新疆，香港，和澳門，說是台獨是梅毒，真是不

倫不類，有失中國自豪之文明。

從蔣介石到台灣，台灣人從日本奴，變回中國奴，後來之中華民國奴

，和1895年前之清國奴相類似，一直到1996年，奴才頭稍有智慧，

將台灣改成總統選舉制，直接公民投票授權，但是整個宗主國憲法，

據曰仍不容變更，我姑且信之，因歸台灣仍是中華民國之殖民地，仍

舊是中國奴，因為中華民國仍然是兩個中國之一，所以台灣人仍舊是

中國奴，中國文明中，從來沒有人權之概念，人民就像牲畜一般，趕

來趕去，我一生嚮往台灣獨立，中國人在台灣，在中國，在全球，侮

辱台獨比梅毒還可怕，我真是要還牙這匹中國奴，中華民國奴。

我在全球遇見許多來自中國者，多半有禮貌，而且也容忍我之國土分

裂說，這是中國文明之萌生，我期待在我有生之年，中國人不再是中

國奴，台灣人不再是中華民國奴，聽這群家生奴，搖尾乞憐於匪，台

灣命運，附匪為奴，抑或當家作主，取決於全民，與中國人無涉。

Finally, there was a dry day on Saturday for the spring. There was no

Spanish class; therefore, I had no restraint on time to play the league

match far away at Katy, Texas. A teammate, Paul, gave me a ride to the

Eagle Point Club and my double partner, John, took me back to our own

courts. Incidentally, there was a need of a fourth player, I joined to the

second game of the morning and I was exhausted when I got home not

quite late in the morning.

The first game was no match at all. Our opponents are younger and better

than us rarely make errors. Sometimes, I feel that if I should continue the

exercises yet I feel no pain on any part of my body, i.e. my joints. I am still

concerned if I make my partner embarrassed. While on my second game at

the home court, I felt much more comfortable due to similar level of tennis

scale. I like this kind of tennis that I can obtain very much needed exercises.

My son Arthur is off during the weekend and I can have more time to prepare

our dinner in the late afternoon. His mother is away in Las Vegas, the Grand

Canyon, and Los Angeles for their sisters’ reunion. I have done four dinners and

five more to go. He is very nice to me and finishing all what I have provided. He

works at night and that’s why she prepares his dinner early late in the afternoon.

I wrote a piece on my blog about an old Japanese song, Hokkiko, an amended

edition of a popular song in the dormitory at Manchuria, China before the War.

I did some Google search and completed in both Kanji and English edition on the

same Saturday before and after the two tennis games. Since I am making some

progress in Japanese language, I shall introduce some more of my favorite old

songs. The next one will be Miyako no ame ni, means the Capital city in the rain.

I like the composer, the original male singer, and a female singer of my favorite.

I’ll introduce her to you, she is about my age and out of the stage for a long time.

The spring is finally here. I go out to the garden on the back yard and shake some

flowers on the lemon trees and pick off some yellow leaves. There are still bees

around even as the mandarin orange tree blossom. We’ll have a good harvest in

the late fall and I shall go to neighbors for some of their harvest. There are many

tangerine trees in the subdivision; however, American are mostly not interested

to eat them, they prefer to the orange juice.

春日終於到來，今日西語先生有事，我可以網球局，不受時間限

制，清晨依安排，到本隊球場等待便車，我們到西區20哩外，一

路上保羅和我談起日產豪華級車，我的98Q45，他之12M37，我

們都有共同之車亮警告紅燈問題，有待解決。約翰是我之雙打夥

伴，今日對手，年輕穩定強勁，我們很快落敗下陣，我請約翰給

我便車，他是保險代理，一路上我們談到保險生意。本隊球場上

仍有隊友球局，三缺一，於是我請求加入，這是較初級球友，於

是順利完成一局，我的夥伴是位年輕少婦，擊球過頭截殺，均甚，

有勁，皆大歡喜，回家後，已經精疲力盡，倒頭就睡。

今明兩日，元兒例假，所以我有充份時間，準備其晚餐，今日水

餃，明日牛肉麵，我們家由愛美煮晚飯，早餐自理，元兒和我，

不食午餐，愛美隨其姊，赴洛城遊大峽谷，她們有四姊妹，在西

部團聚，我已經渡過四晚餐工作，元兒捧場，餐餐食盡，而且幫

忙清除罔腰子之糞盒，罔腰是一拾來金色小貓，已經高齡16，初

來我家，常為另貓欺負，我誤以為䧳性故名子，愛美隨子女呼彼

麥迪生。

網誌上面很多破題新聞，川普一大案結束報告，柯文哲市長結束

訪美，我寫下北歸行演歌心得漢英文版，每天作文一則，非常有

趣。我之老年生活，非常規律，選擇我之生活方式，最近之日西

語課，帶來忙碌之一週，讀書雖難有記憶，但仍然有趣，我本想

煩先生翻譯北歸行，但谷歌搜索後，已經差強人意，這歌詞之創

作，宇田博當年僅19歲，當年同鄉會之老人曰，只要當年高中畢

業生，即可看懂。

今年橘科花朵盛開，引來許多蜜蜂，我閒來無事，彈落檸檬黃葉

，後來一不做二不休，震落許多不實花朵，撒滿草地，鄰居有幾

株碰柑，金黃果實，仍掛在樹上，今年冬初，我真要敲門拜訪索

橘採橘。

Recently, I am back to Japanese language study; therefore, I switch my

You Tube attention from Richard Clayderman’s piano pieces to the old

Japanese Enka and I am introducing one of them, Kokkiko, amended in

1961 for a movie of Kobayashi Akira originally by Oda Hirosi in 1941 at

Lushun, Manchuko. It was very popular among students who resided at

the dormitory of Lushun Koutougakkou. I need to explain more about the

old school system in Japan before 1945. My alma mater, Taiwan Normal

University, has been on the campus of Taihoku Koutougakkou established

in 1927. My father mentioned this institution when I passed the entrance

examination to enter Taiwan Normal and briefly about the status at that

time.

Oda was 19 when he enrolled to the school just open in 1941. He was born

In 1922; therefore, my conclusion was that he missed his application to be

a freshman at Tokyo First Koutougakkou, Ichi Ko for short which he mentioned

his sorry on the poem at paragraph 2 of the original poem. He also mentioned

the Manchuko University, Chien Kuo Daigatko, on the same sentence and of

course Lu Kou. The whole piece is very touching of his time wondering from

the imperial capital city of Tokyo and came to Manchu outside of Japanese

homeland. He did use the bitter sake, misery rain, separation of family and

friends to complete his homesick. The song was very popular at that time

with his pier. After the War, people are still singing it, of course, Kobayashi

made it famous and so do many other famous singers which I’ll name a few,

Baisho Chieko, Chiaki Naomi, Doji Yukiko, Miyoshi Eiji, Ishikawa Sayuri, etc

for the amended edition Hokikko while the original one under the performance

of Midorizaki Kasumi, the dormitory song of Lu Kou.

I was brought up by Japanese music after the War due to the vacuum of

Chinese occupation in Taiwan. I have never get into the Chinese music such

as classical Mandarin Opera or any kinds of instrument used. I believe that

the Meiji Restoration and the acceptance of the western civilization makes

the difference of Japan from China. I am interested in songs making and

the Pro-Prussian school systems. Now, in Japan is 6-3-3-4 schools like the

U.S. while before the War, 5-5-3-3 and Koutougakkou is the first 3 and the

final three is the university, Imperial University or Private University. I

believe the old British school systems are identical and I suspect the Eaton

and Rugby school are Koutougakkou. The Oxford and Cambridge were 3

years term then.
