參觀河川遊輪瑪利亞特莉莎號/莊峻華

我在麥因河北岸散步，走到東方步徑盡頭，又走回老街碼頭，河川遊

輪，瑪莉亞特莉莎號乘客，已經開始準備，陸地遊覽，有三隊，一隊

是到附近著名景觀點，佛來斯堡，有專車接送，一隊是參觀老街，第

三隊姑忘其名，我在旁一直稱讚此船，坐在板凳上呆望，船員忙碌，

船長見我稱讚，邀請我登船參觀，他也不清楚，是否可以讓外人參觀，

但他又覺無妨，於是我跟隨上船，船長高大英俊蕭灑，英文流利有深度

，可能是美國籍。豪華餐廳前，就是奧匈帝國女帝，瑪莉亞特莉莎畫像

，船長特別交代，是歐洲僅有女帝，我現在想來，英帝國只稱王，尚未

稱帝，她是真有實權之女帝，生有16位子女，最近我查維基字典，在

巴黎郊外凡爾賽宮，鼎鼎大名之小後院宮，瑪莉安通涅皇后，就是其幼

女。看一下餐廳，又帶我看健身室，電腦辦公室，遇到寢室，立即折返，

我不敢久留，此船可攜帶乘客150位，費用昂貴，約是我搭乘郵輪之10

倍。

我決定要趕上遊輪導遊隊，所以連忙拍攝下街道上盛開玫瑰花，後日欣賞

，這位女導遊，是位葡萄牙女士著包頭巾長紗，我壞疑是虔誠教徒，她很

仔細介紹，老街之建築和典故，站在每一角落觀去，都有一故事，這時候

老街，已經布滿遊客，許多中國觀光團，台灣遊客，多半是自由行。她解

釋到老教堂，並帶入參拜，介紹老新市政府，介紹那座議會教堂，介紹商

展建築，然後帶我們到菜市場買巧克力糖，順便投幣上廁所，我不知何故

，未跟上陣，所以掛單，走向布朗德站附近之公園，布朗德先生，是德國

前總理，其站附近就是歐銀總部，有火車站在地下。

我很心儀這位仁心女導遊，她帶這些富家旅客，參觀一座入世教會，正在

佈施貧民大眾，提供早餐給來求助者，她說法蘭克福有人工作一輩，年老

時無棲身之地，所以市政府設法在冬天，開放車站，讓無殼蝸牛有遮身之

地，我非常感動，也體會到莫克爾總理，堅持接納中東難民之道理，德國

確是行有餘力，可以領導世界。

老街很熱鬧，就像過年一般忙碌。

I asked the information center at the main train station about visiting the

City, he said to begin with the old town Frankfurt right around the corner

of the station. I can walk on the street toward the River Main and see the

old Frankfurt town with churches, cathedral, old and new city hall, market

square etc., see the colorful shape architecture. River Main is the major

branch of River Rhine and still manage some major transportation duty

of the central part of Germany. I ran into Maria Theresa river cruise disembark

on the north pier that day of my arrival.

There are at least 10 bridges across over the river within the city limit connecting

both sides of the city, several parks located on each bank of the river with pedestrian

paths. The river flows slowly with a dam to control the water level to allow all the

vessels passing through, of course, there are radars on top of the cruise ships to

monitor the height of the ship. I always ask people why the city can gather so many

residents, what are the main industries to feed so many people. These questions will

lead to many more additional questions involving the history. In 1848, all German

gathered here to have a meeting of the Germany unification where the old church is

still standing in the old town and is a museum nowadays.

I boldly guess that Frankfurt becoming the major hub of Germany, or Europe is because

of U.S. occupied of this part before and still with lots of military installation to fully

utilized the facility of the airport and German rail system. Some major finance head

quarters are here, i.e., European Central Bank, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, and

Frankfurt Stock Exchange etc.

It is because of the plenty of job opportunity, there are many immigrants live here

to have their new life in this country. I find very convenient to communicate with

them in English, of course very easy to speak English with local German as well because

of the fantastic schools system. I believe that schools have been free ever since the

Bismarck era in the late 19^th century.

德國櫃台曰，法蘭克福老街，就在火車站對面，許多店面，通達麥因河

，觀光區內之老街，非常特殊，舊日政府教會規模，均竭力保持，而且

尚在使用中。放下行李後，我再會車站前，走向老街，很明顯者，法蘭

克福市，有許多移民，移民店面，移民餐廳雜貨店，走不遠就到有特色

之老教堂廣場，這是觀光客聚集處，許多人拍照，許多遊覽團隊，我又

跟著人潮，走到麥因河，麥因河是萊茵河之支流，但此支流，不比循環，

很多運輸任務，河畔都是磚石堆砌，一定有水壩控制水位，大型江輪可

靠岸停泊，法蘭克福是歐洲河川遊輪，主要停靠碼頭之一，當天下午，

就有一美國遊輪，瑪莉亞特莉莎號抵達。

麥因河在法蘭克福市，至少有十座大橋，連接南北兩岸，兩岸各有步道，

也有幾座公園，河流潺湲， 許多古代文明，均起源於河川，我在北岸散

步，心想法蘭克福，如何聚集如此眾多人口？原來法蘭克福一直是德國之

中心，1848年醞釀之德國統一，在此老市中心開會，就是二次大戰後，美

軍佔領此區，以法蘭克福機場為進出口，一直到目前，若非德國人希望統

一後，遷都柏林，法蘭克福市，很可能是德國首都，現在歐盟許多重點，

均在此，如歐洲銀行，德意志銀行，法蘭克福股市總部。

因為城市工作機會多，許多外國移民，公車上街道上，均可體會，我因為

搭乘街車，遇到者均為上班工作者，穿著樸實，一般街道建築，和休士頓

中古社區相似，只不過是我未有機會，參觀住宅區。老街雖然重建，但是

破壞痕跡仍在。此為德國人語我，戰爭戰敗後之，慘痛代價。

我離家已久，胃口漸差，在老街上見到一家，馬來西亞餐廳，有白粥出售

，所以兩次光顧，其餘很慘，許多德國香腸佐生啤酒。

I use British Airway mileage; therefore, every plane must be transferred

at London Heathrow Airport and I don’t mind at all. Due to heavy and

large luggage too difficult to be in and out of subway stations, I had had

a preliminary look to the route to the Orly Airport. Villejuif-Louis Aragon

Station where I transfer to a light rail train has an elevator to be up to the

Street level that I find very convenient. I went to Orly terminals and even

took a direct train ride from Orly terminal B to De Galle International. There

is a Concorde supersonic aircraft displayed nearby Orly. The plane was one

of the grounded in 2003 due to high cost and later replaced by Airbus,

another European project.

There was this young Brazilian lady coming along with me for the early flight

out of Paris. She was to De Galle and Dublin eventually for her English learning

project. She came here for a week’s cleaning side job and I was very curious and

asked her more details. She was an architect by training in Brazil with two

degrees, a bachelor and a master graduate degree, yet she was un-employed.

She came to Dublin for a maid job with a student visa. Now, the Briexit of the

European Union, I understand the situation in European Union member nations

must accept people of the member nation entering for a job. Majority of the the

English obviously didn’t like the idea. This also happens in the United States as

well, if you ask my opinion that I would say it is very backward. I admire the wisdom

of the EU founding fathers.

At the arrival of Frankfurt, Germany, the information center staff helped me to purchase

two tickets, one way ticket to the hostel and another weekly ticket for the day after. I

admit that I cannot speak German except morgan and donka means good morning and

thank you. Luckily most of German people speak English, a very good sign of school

education, especially the newly immigrants who know both German and English most of

the case. I find that German vocabulary is very long and without some key points tip I

shall not be able to manage it.

It is very convenient in Frankfurt for public transportation like New York City, London,

Paris, and Tokyo where I have been visited. I have passed by the city twice and this is

the first visit outside of the airport. I like it so much; therefore, I do plan to come back

this coming September for an additional one month visit for the entire Germany.

搭乘英航哩數班機，需要在倫敦希斯落轉機，我因抵達巴黎歐莉機場，

拖大卡行李有困難，所以特別研究改進方法，幾日前依旅店職員指導，

搭輕軌火車，到歐莉機場，順便搭一班快速直達火車到戴高樂機場，迅

速來回，歐莉機場附近，置放一架康闊德超音波客機，昨日查閱維基字

典，此機在2003年停飛，一共出產20架，6架試飛，英法各分7架，其

一架燒毀，成本太貴，無法維持，後來由空中巴士取代，空中巴士是法

德合作產品，總部在法國。

旅店有一巴西小姐，和我一樣，趕早班飛機到都柏林，她來巴黎當清潔工

，是在都柏林學英文，我們在月台聊天，她到戴高樂機場，我說何不到美

國讀書？她是建築學士和碩士，在巴西失業，所以設法到愛爾蘭工讀，有

人介紹假日到巴黎打工，我聽聞下，甚為感動，許多國家，國民受困，無

法謀生，只好流浪異鄉，這是人類遷徙歷史，有許多人反對，反對移民，

稍微注意政治，可以了解許多社會現象，德國總理莫克爾，對難民之看法，

和當今美國英國部分民意相異。

抵達法蘭克福機場後，立即購買一週火車票和當夜單程車票，我不識德文，

是有認路困難，幸好德國學校教育普遍，德國人能言英文者眾，尤其是外國

移民，所以行動尚稱方便，我之旅店搭電車，約六站路程，很有趣者，德文

單字甚長，若無要領，一時無法憶起。

德國交通方便，法蘭克福是德國大城市，我搭機在機場換機兩次，這次特別

造訪十日，非常有趣，因此九月中旬，我將再訪德國一個月。

I tried to go back to Vincennes Park for another visit; however, I missed

Doree Station and got off Vincennes Station instead. I was attracted by

an open air market on the side walk of the main street, Cours de Vincennes

. This narrow fresh produce market extends to Nation Station Square. I have

been attracted automatically by this kind of market all over to the countries

where I have visited because of my childhood life in Taiwan. The market is

very clean organized full of flowers shops, butcher shops with various kiinds

of fresh meat and sausages, pantries including cheese, wines, fruits and

vegetable etc. I also saw some garment stores as well. My eyes could not resist

a pretty oriental lady dressed elegantly following by her handsome husband

who held his Euro bills at hand looking for fishes. I checked my photo gallery

and did not seem to find my peony at the market.

I circled around the roses garden on the Nation Square, there are Nation and

Republic twin cities after the Revolution. This Nation Square had a blooming

roses at the time when I visited. A group of Jehovah’s Witness helped me to

locate Pablo Picasso Museum before I walked down to the subway station. I did

find that memorial of the Bastille Fortress ruins on a wall of a platform for #5

train to Pablo Picasso Station where was outside of the city not the Museum

was located.

On my way back to Paris and got off at Chatelet Station, I walked into the famous

Saint-Jacque Tower. It was started in 1509 then accompanied with Saint James

Cathedral which was destroyed during the Revolution. Now the Tower is opened

to general public to visit. Look at the top of the tower with 4 stick like structures

and guess what they are at this Gothic architecture. I believe that I have had an

explanation yet I cannot disclose it. I got it when I visited a classical museum in

Valencia, Spain and a well learned tip guide explained it.

I went back to the Chateau Versailles one more time and it was a rainy day again.

I marched toward the end gate of the park, directly across the mail Palace across

the garden, Grand Canal, farms to the boundary with the outside world. I was very

satisfied with my first visit of Paris.

Every day, I would purchase some fruits from a small fruits stand in front of the Marie

Currie Station. The owner is an old Bengali. He said he was hopeless when I asked

him how was his business. I had had Vietnamese beef pho every night for dinner while

its business was fine and obviously they made it in Paris.

從維新尼斯站開始走向國家市，維新尼斯宮就在附近維新尼斯大公園內

，幾日前我從巴士底市，走畢散步用公園，到達公園，深感公園美麗，

正想再訪，結果未在公園門口多蕊站下車，坐到維新尼斯站，一下車，

就為一整排菜市場吸引，這是傳統狹長菜市，與維新尼斯內院大道平行

，一直延伸到國家市圓環。菜市場有新鮮花店，蔬菜攤，水果攤，鮮肉

店，豬牛羊雞肉分開，而且有灌腸多類，許多海鮮店，我看到一位東方

淑女，穿著高雅，美麗迷人，正在等待法國夫婿買魚，先生手握歐元大

鈔，也是西裝革履。

我在國家市圓環，拍攝玫瑰花圃花朵，事畢在圓環街道角落，為一群耶

和華見證會傳道女士們攔住，我說我是行腳和尚，脫帽顯示後頂光頭，

女士們一知半解，我再曰神父，女士們始知講笑，於是幫我查畢卡索博

物館，最近我查字典，有關行腳僧掛單，掛單何意？為何和尚需要雲遊

四方？想出一解釋，容後敘述。

同日我找到巴士底監獄小遺跡，在五號地下鐵月台壁上。我坐該號地下

鐵，到終站，畢卡索站，當然不是巴士底市之畢卡索博物館，在坐原車

回來。有日回到查特列站逛街，逛到聖傑克高塔，這是一美麗歌德古塔

，1509年開始興建，私人投資，後來聖詹姆士大教堂，在1797年大革

命中燒毀，僅存古塔，如今整修後，開放參觀，請看塔頂四大隻圓棍，

是為何物？我在西班牙巴練西亞市，也看到同樣設計，小費女導遊有解

釋，只是不雅，不便說明。

離開巴黎前，我又搭車拜訪凡爾賽宮，當天也是毛毛雨不停，有節目活

動，擋住側門入內，於是我繞道旁路，直達大後院宮殿，這一天我在凡

爾賽公園行軍，走到公園盡頭，就是邊界出入口，留下美憶。

我住之旅店，在居禮站，算是市郊平民區，每天我下車，就在出口處，

買些水果，水果攤老者，是印度半島之孟加拉人，我問生意如何？他

搖頭曰他是毫無希望矣。但是我每日睌餐處，越南小餐廳，則有生意，

母親掌廚，兒子招待，有時侯老爸也來店面，我每天均點牛肉河粉，沒

有什麼法國料理享受。
