 Summary of my reasons to like the subdivision/Carlos Pueblo

Our subdivision two page monthly will introduce me to the 500 neighbors next month and I have printed several articles from my blog and prepare a summary of my reasons to like the subdivision. We moved to the Village West  at the end of 2012 from the Memorial Bend subdivision where we had stayed since 1981 about three miles north. The current residence was built in 1982 while the last one was built in 1956. A builder helped us to get rid of that old house in order to build a pre-sold mansion to a rich young couple. I have been more settled in my life at that time and enjoy very much to a house more up to date.

It is a larger community than the previous one. Neighbors are more diversified. I am more matured and settled when we move in. I feel that I can communicate better with neighbors than before. My English is certainly better and neighbors are more friendly that I feel.

Because of the time of the construction, the house we have moved in is much better constructed than the one we move out. The sellers left us a nice planned garden yard front and back. Most of the neighbors hire land scape company to manage their yards. I can see almost every day, the yard men come in with their truck to mow yards and clean streets. It is very unique that the front yard on every street looks like a small garden especially during the spring and the summer. There is a house that I love its design, a hall way connects both two story living quarter and  the one story living room with an angle declining roof top. Various builders have expressed their favorite  design on houses they sold.

It has been more than 44 years since the first section was built; therefore, I can see some handsome trees with huge trunk shoot up to the air. It was built then with a character that most of the house with a backyard swimming pool. There is a community center with a swimming pool, a tennis court, a basket court, and a playground for younger children.

I get to know most of the neighbors because that I walk on streets every day and make friends with their pet dogs, then get to know their owners. I have many faithful dog friends whom I can call their names and they either answer my whistle or waiting for me to come by to pet them. One time I count that there are about 40 of them are my favorite pals.

Neighbors are driving good vehicles, as an insurance agent, I know that they are with good family income in order to to keep such a high standard of living. As a matter of fact, several of our neighbors obtain second leisure home either water front houses or big ranches outside of Houston.

鄰居洛薩刊徒約我們面談，她是西村月訊主筆，準備介紹我們給西村近五百戶，月訊是彩色出版，今年開始，已經三期，每期固定有一頁西村住家理事會記錄，一頁介紹鄰居，單月為新鄰居，雙月為老鄰居，我建議介紹我喜歡西村居之理由，於是我從最近部落格裏，印出近十篇英文版，順便再寫一摘要，提供她參考。

我喜歡西村居，歸納下許多因素，西村住屋建於1982年，稍新於茶花女街舊屋二十六年，而且設計建材均優，價錢又便宜，鄰居前院像小花園，街道清潔，幾乎都是專人割草整理。

西村鄰居和藹可親，許多年輕家庭遷入，還是有許多老年鄰居，鄰居守望相助，五百戶雖小，但也齊全，有休憩中心，去年我開始在中心打網球和游泳，還有一小孩遊樂場，真是五臟俱全。西村鄰居喜愛蓄犬，我先結識愛犬，然後認識鄰居，現在路過鄰居，相識愛犬，必先吠叫，提醒注意，有的甚至固定時間，在室內外等待。

房屋設計特殊，新潁古典均有，都是當年建商之智慧，西村先期建造於1977年，前院巨樹衝天，樹幹兩三人環抱，十分壯觀，秋天後有葉變色，還有落葉，春天開始，百花齊放，一直到冬天。

我專業估計，西村居必需有固定之家庭收入，學區雖然比不上鄰近春枝學區，但有經驗家長，應有補救方法，況且進入德大和農工，前百分之十學生有保證，畢業後就是個人造化。

Give old tennis rackets to a boy/Carlos Pueblo

Yesterday morning we were at our early tennis , a couple of mother and son came to recreation center to shoot some basket ball. Later, the boy came close to the two court tennis. My mind was distracted due to my fond memory of my past in Taiwan when I was a kid. I used to sit and watch the adult to play tennis at a tennis court nearby. I wished that one day I could use an old tennis racket left by my father's school Japanese principal. He could only carried a small belongings after the war back to Japan. At a break, I asked for a time out to approach to the blond boy if he would like to have an old racket to play. He smiled with joy. I asked them to come out of the gate to my car. I gave two old rackets and four cans of used balls to hit. He was so happy and asked my schedule. I told him that I would like to give  him free tennis lessons.

I bought an out of date tennis new racket when I arrived Auburn, Stan Smith model. The grid is a bit larger for me; however, my daughter used both hands to hit  at my converted garage-office wall. She later developed a double grid back hand stroke. We took her to the junior tour in Texas. High school tennis has helped her to developed her future carrier as a successful business consultant. For me, that old tennis racket helped me to build a life time hobby. Now I play tennis every morning with retired doctors and engineers.

My neighbor Mike Oliver moves to Austin lake house. He was an athlete obtained an Alabama baseball scholarship. He told me that he also attend Clemson. He also played tennis, at least, his children did. Due to the moving, he gave me eight old rackets and I gave away five. Previously, I gave away some of Michelle's old rackets to a home school neighbors to have some tennis lessons as the physical education classes that I served as their tennis teacher.

早上八點，是史丹那老隊長之網球局，尚未開始，旁邊休憩中心，已來一對年輕母子，我道是週末有早生日派對，母子開始在籃球架投籃，球場旁邊另一局，已經開打，小男孩蹲在鐵絲網外，觀看兩球場球局，他似乎看懂網球，知曉好球鼓掌，我開始心不在焉，失誤平平，陷入六十餘年之回憶。我幼年也常在球場觀看，家裏有一支日本人留下之舊球拍，來美國讀書，買下一支過期新球拍，一直到琳兒取之擊壁，我們送她到教練下習網球技，現在她是成功之商務人才。球局過半場換人，我先暫停，走到小孩網前，表示希望贈送他舊球拍和舊網球，請她們隨我到停車場，母子興高采烈，我熟練取出舊球拍，和準備贈送幾愛犬之淘汰網球，我贈送兩支球拍，小孩詢問我之球局課表，我說每天七點半，就在球球場有球局，而且可以給他免費教練，母子高興離去，先在休憩中心草地，後來移到第三球場。

網球運動是我一生之美憶，開始就是觀看球局，網球也是一高尚溫和之活動，剛好我現在有足夠之空閒，也剛好我認是幾位慷慨之球伴，提供新球，讓我管理舊球，一位鄰居搬家，贈送我七支舊球拍，我已贈出五支，另外有一支是斷線拾來者，家裏尚有六支琳兒舊用球拍，這是我早年贈送老鄰居五位小孩球拍後，仍存在可使用者，贈球拍真是美憶，我是在推廣網球運動。

我相信小孩自幼培養網球興趣，參加課外活動，可以幫助學校課業，不易受傷，參加球隊，可已習得領導能力，幫助職業，我講的是琳兒之故事，她已經養成網球嗜好，隨時可以和同事對打，我則是老年難得之生活寄託。

Finally, it is my turn to get my vaccination shot for the Chinese Wuhan Corona Virus. Amy helps me to get the shot at a CVS drug store about 17 miles from home. It is very convenient. I was still one hour early aftr I had finished my Wednesday morning tennis. A Clerk checked me in at the pharmacy office and then I waited on the parking lot to take a nap. It was a beautiful day in Houston after that severe winter storm.

It was Pfizer vaccine instead of the originally scheduled Moderna. I have listed to Pfizer's chief executive officer, Albert Bourla's interview with NBC Lester Holt about the vaccines and I know there is no difference to take either one, as a matter of the fact, no efficiency difference among the three available in the U.S. market including the new Johnson and Johnson one. He says both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines can get 50% efficiency while reach near 100% after the second shot. J&J only need one shot to get 72% efficiency in the U.S. according to the data. I am very impressed of his explanation and reasoning and no wonder that his appearance with Biden at Kalamazoo, Michigan and NBC are such a success to help the vaccination which will set up another Biden's visit to J&J factory with Merck's effort to help producing the new vaccine to deter the pandemics.

I am on 1b waiting list of age 65 and above. 1a is 75 plus. There is one young lady behind me. Her answer to my curious question of her eligibility of my age group. She answers me that she has weight issue; therefore, she has the priority to join senior group to get vaccinated earlier than her regular age group. In the U.S. the older age and the frontier medical personnel ae the most vulnerable groups among all population. There are more than half a million population die from the diseases. 

I have my plan to visit Taiwan for my fake teeth installation. Not until Taiwan get the full vaccination I don't think that I can get the waiver of three weeks quarantine requirement. It is very difficult for everyone to deal with this pandemics yet we are going to get there to back to our normal life.

今晨終於輪到我的注射日，早上打了一節網球，沿八號公路，開到浸信會大學旁一藥局，因早到在內外等候一小時，藥局小姐查對身份保險，然後十分前，再對一次身份，目的是要肯定可以拿到保險理賠，這次全國普遍接種疫苗，雖言免費，全國保險制度，全部派上用場，而且有先後秩序，老人，醫護人士，體弱有病弱勢者優先，若年富力壯者，即使感然武漢肺炎，也能自癒，目前沒有可靠之抗生素。

卡片上書明為輝瑞疫苗，和原指定莫丹娜藥廠疫苗有異，顯然後者用罄，按照輝瑞總經理博拉解釋，兩疫苗首劑約近半功效，第二劑則臻全效，至於新變種肺炎，無證據顯示兩疫苗兩劑失效，必要時，輝瑞在六個月，將再打第三劑，是加上新品疫苗，爾後每年將需打一劑疫苗，就像流行性感冒疫苗一樣，至於詹森和詹森廠，只需一劑注射，功效高達72％，也甚可靠，墨克藥廠將投入生產，美國同時可以有四大藥廠生產疫苗，待美國打畢全民疫苗，四廠將立及提供全球疫苗，美國第一經濟，實力不容忽視，而且又有慈悲胸懷，生意頭腦。

我不覺左臂有何異樣，比一般年度感冒注射輕鬆，而且打後還需靜坐觀察十五分鐘，無反應始能離去，我聽台大李秉潁大夫鼓勵注射，再聽兩次輝瑞總經理說明，更具信心，我現在等候台灣解嚴，回台無需關閉三週，好讓我做假牙。

They have listed their investigation both from the U.S. government and Chinese intelligent sources. I heard it from the You Tube vlog while I was on my way to visit the Southeast Asia between 01/16/2020 to 02/06/2020. Their article have mentioned all over the negligence on the biosafety which has caused so much damage of the world and los so many life. After more than one year, Chinese government allows the World Health Organization to visit Beijing as well as Wuhan to see the clean up sites. The U.S. new government is still insist to review the evidence. I like to see how the damage of the great city of Wuhan, the great city of the military coup in 1911 to topple the Manchu Dynasty. I like to know how many dead for the corona virus inhumane lockdown of the city. Nobody could be in and out in order to control a disease with no vaccine to prevent and no medicine to cure. Only the strong population could be surrived. I want to know how many people are suffering from the Chinese Communist rule. We can not witness the human tragedy over and over again. The famine in China in the 50's to 60's and the genocide in Tibet and the Eastern Turkistan thereafter, etc. The rest of the world can only watch and do nothing. I wonder if Pompeo particularly had had the information while he was the Secretary of State. Obviously he could not get the information after January 20, 2021 when his term ended. He couldn't have the same announcement while he was in position, otherwise, the U.S. would be in the brink of war with China. The virus attack is far worse than Pearl Harbor and the death toll is mounting. Everyday when I read the attack of old Asian American on the street of San Francisco or the subway in New York City, I know the war against China is started. No matter which nation you are from if you look like Chinese and you can't avoid the discrimination. We can't allow the Chinese Communists to go on their way to endanger the human been.
