Return to Europe after the summer 2018/Carlos Pueblo

This morning, I booked one way air plane ticket to England in order to take cruise

back to Miami in the fall, if it is possible, I shall continue to stay before and after

the transatlantic.

I am writing this short piece to inform my daughters on board that I am going to

visit you in the fall, 2018.

proceed  the legal procedure by hiring an attorney to negotiate with

Grace’s attorney, if any with or without, upon the local judiciary

Court at Huwei, Taiwan.

The final cost of the procedure will be deducted before the division of

the proceed after the sale.

On June 15, 2018, the United States will post additional tariffs on aluminum and

steel in order to solve the trade imbalance. I can fully understand the reason why

the administration takes such action even though I don’t agree with it. As a

private citizen, what do I have to prepare myself after the additional tariff posted?

I believe that the inflation will follow and the U.S. currency will be diminished

further. I have already been more firm of my frugal behavior and even more to

strengthen it.

I have done a new vehicle purchase which is going to be affected as the steel 25%

additional tax posted. Everything imported from the oversea will be more expansive

as before June 15, 2018. I don’t like to spend even avoid unnecessary spending, i.e.

the cruise trip in order to make up the unexpected old vehicle repairmen cost. I

shall continue not dinning out, not purchasing any clothes, foot ware, and attempting

to use the desk top as long as possible. I’ll eat more healthy food.

I don’t need to debate myself for what the U.S. government will do after increase the

Import tax revenue. I shall be glad if they can pay off some of the national debt while

I resent the tax incentive for the high income people or business venture even though

that may benefit my retirement investment plan. I trust the U.S. systems and never

bothered to the consequence of unemployment or business down turn. I must keep

on my practice of frugal behavior, manage my balance between income and spending.

It is amazing to see so many developed foreign national leaders to shuffle to and from

Washington D.C. in order to avoid tariff war. The world is more of the same complicated

among international trade competition. Just some 150 years ago, the U.S. fleet knocked

on Japanese port to open for trade and now just the opposite.

美國入超甚巨，許多產業委縮，甚至消滅，引起國民惶恐，新政府宣佈增

加鋁鐵進口關稅，剛好我有座車問題，需要解決，在家人協助下，立刻快

刀斬亂蔴，買下新車，我在車行內，斤斤計較，拿到所謂之職員折扣15%

，豐田車雖在美國裝配，零件純屬日本進口，美國政府要增稅，商人增加

成本，消費者買單，此與我了解之市塲經濟，鼓勵消費之經濟原理相矛盾

，然我也無顧於熟是熟非矣，一切還是以節約儲蓄習慣以對。

凡事不浪費，老車車行無興趣，愛美嫌站位，準備捐贈，我說那麼新車輪

流使用，愛美逐無言，維護保險費昂貴，那麼我就減少出外旅行，一切都

是基本消費，基本公民責任，就是繳稅，有效之管理有限之資產，有趣者

為，家人節約儲蓄觀念一致，甚至平日來往鄰居，亦多樸實無華者，非常

理想之環境。

德克薩斯州，無加工食物無購買稅，所以食物價格穩定，為避免增添稅，

我甚至拒絕非必要餐廳飯局，要上餐廳，我就上最後一分鐘減價郵輪旅行

，如今，航空機票漲價，於是我就轉移旅行方向，進口關稅增加，物價上

漲，我們平民，需有對策。

關稅增加後，我也無興趣憂慮，對國家之好壞，只見歐盟，日本等國緊張

，中國政府，貌似無所畏懼，外國投資廠商，也無法控制應付，加拿大和

墨西哥，均是氣極敗壞，美國國內，就看年底期中選舉。

We went to purchase a new vehicle yesterday and it was quite an experience.

Our daughter took a morning off and took us to visit two dealerships, one

Toyota and one Honda, which target were two models specifically, Camry and

Accord that we had had previously fine experience with. She had had some

study and got a referral from her cousin to get a sales manager to assist us for

to discount programs, one with Costco and another one with her own company’s

employee discount program. The manager assigned a sale to help us to locate

vehicles.

2018 Camry XSE and XLE, 4 and 6 cylinders accordingly, the sale took them for a

test drive while I was waiting in the show room and drinking free coffee. My

nephew, a vehicle enthusiast, came and chat with the sale and the sales manager.

I asked him about his three vehicles and the insurance cost. They came back from

test drive, the sale was busy to calculate the Costco discount and Michelle went

ahead to the Honda dealership to check on Accord. I asked Amy’s opinion of the

test drive vehicles and the preference. She liked each one of them. Michelle sent

text message with photo and figure of a V6 Accord and she liked it. The sale was

aware that I was ready to walk out. We were still waiting his figure and he had a

hard time with his slow computer and Michelle came back from the Honda

dealership with all information on her i-phone.

The first figure for XSE V4 finally came out. I guess XSE means extra sport edition

while XLE is extra luxury edition. Amy will be the principle driver of the new vehicle

while Michelle will inherit the vehicle after 10 years. I do have a final say of the

purchase. I asked the sale to figure out XSE V6 and again he had had a hard time to

get a quote because this vehicle was excluded on the Costco program due to new

and popular and I asked him try the second employee discount under Michelle’s.

Finally, he got the figure and while he managed the calculation, he mentioned the

Accord V6 was really a V4 plus a turbo engine cylinder. Michelle checked on her i-

phone and confirmed it. I have had no idea of the turbo engine and I back off the

Accord attempt. It took 6 ½ hours to finalize the sale and I went back to bring back

the new XSE V6 in the evening.

Amy will drive the new one, Michelle drove off 2013 Maxima and left her 2007

Camry XLE V6 for her brother Arthur to drive to work, and I finally took over the

no value 1998 Q45. Again, everyone in the house has a vehicle.

昨夜琳兒返家，準備今晨協助購買新車，我們準備逛豐田和本田車行，都在

老凱蒂路，我們先到豐田行，越南裔經理，已經接到琳兒簡訊，把我們交給

一位巴勒斯坦裔業務，侄兒嘉銓也趕到，於是我就指著兩輛玄觀內展示樣品

車，一為四缸之白大卡茉莉有限量跑車，一為六缸褐卡茉莉有限量豪華車，

業務開始找車，讓有意見之琳兒試車，他到處尋找，終於找到兩輛，琳兒和

愛美隨業務上車，我就在座上打嗑睡，一直到此業務之摩洛哥裔實習生前來

，我們談起卡薩布蘭卡，北非風土人情，愛美試車後回來，琳兒逕赴本田車

行看車，目標是阿考特六缸，兩車台我們都有好經驗。

琳兒對本田車，有好印象，於是我們準備放棄豐田車，業務有持無恐，慢條

斯理，算出四缸車價錢曰，此車馬力略似2007年六缸車，但我中意中型六缸

，於是業務解釋，本田阿考特已無六缸車型，只是四缸加一渦輪推動引擎，我

不了解渦輪推動之道理，逐集中於豐田六缸跑車，車行有存貨，顏色也同意，

於是開始報價，我還是想討價還價，我開始使用大賣塲卡斯可會員優待，但是

此車型不包括在內，於是在使用琳兒公司優待，結果折扣約五千美元，不使用

免利息貸款優待，有一千五百元優待，已包括在內，如此折騰一整日，約七小

時。

晚上把新車開回，琳兒開走愛美2013年日產車，元兒開走2007年豐田，明天

起，愛美開新車，我則留用20年日產無止境牌老車，家裡恢復平靜。
