鎌倉市行/莊峻華

訪問東京三次，終於安排到，鎌倉市行，高德寺之大佛，中古日本，和

美麗城市。鎌倉在東京南部，一小時慢車可及，抵達時七點不到，我按

著路標和問路，經御成通，走向大佛處，這是一慢長之步行，街道整潔，

店面時尚，顯然有接待觀光客之需要，我的日文教科書，就有一課是鎌

倉行，旅行家庭，租車前往。

途經收玄寺，四條金吾邸，因為伯爵東鄉平八郎揮毫，引起我注意，東鄉

是日清和日露海戰之指揮大將，這次旅行，我甚至追到鹿兒島市，和江田

島市，拜訪此日本海軍英雄。收玄寺小廟也，屬日蓮宗，建山有770年，

四條金吾者，北條執權金越氏之家臣也。

我自幼喜歡歷史故事，因我看過一部足利尊氏之影集，又聽過一首日本童

歌元寇，原來鎌倉是日本古都，第一幕府大將軍，辦公室所在，擊敗兩次

蒙古入侵，1274年在博多，1281年在南九州，均賴神風之助，就是颱風。

為寫此遊記，我特別查了維基字典，源賴朝建立鎌倉幕府後，死後子幼，由

原配北條氏和娘家控制，大將軍繼承者，由北條家族執權，一直到足利氏，

足利尊氏滅鎌倉幕府後，就是足利幕府，其孫義滿，在京都興建金閣寺，就

是室町時代，室町之後，就是德川幕府，然後就是大政奉還，我觀賞過一些

古典影集，日本歷史非常有趣。

走近大佛高德寺，有一美麗之長谷寺，奉觀自在菩薩，古松高塔石碑，隸淨

土宗，736年開山，已經有770年歷史，有聯合國古寶級紅色標誌。大佛正

在整修，我要保存體力，所以走向海灘方向，冬天海浪頗大，這就是太平洋，

可以想像到，夏日之熱鬧，離東京如此之近。回車站時，我開始購買禮物，

兩盒羊羹，兩包菓子，和兩粒紅豆麻薯，也找到蜜柑處，解決每日水果需要。

波蘭青年，推薦我到淺草橋，結果我找不到淺草寺，空跑一趟，但我在淺草驛

，高架橋下，參觀兩排餐館。晚上，出外晚餐，遇見政治活動，日本共產黨，在

靖國通和神保町通，抗議示威，抗議安倍晉三，修改安全法，要安倍退陣，上院

將在七月投票，如果通過，下院則須刻日，全國投票，就是對安倍投信任，或不

信任，不信任，安倍首相，需要解散國會，全國改選，一位示威青年，如此解釋。

很有趣者，馬英九，哈佛法學博士，居然以為其國憲法，中華民國憲法，可以多

數黨組閣，國會多數黨，今日之民進黨任何人組閣後，又須向國民黨總統負責，

真是莫名其妙，中國人真無邏輯觀念，隨時都在魚目混珠。

It was snowing overnight, for the first time of this year, when I arrived in

Tokyo. Snow was piled up on the roof and street and was still snowing in

the day with a mixture of icy rain. I managed to get on rush hour trains

to Sengakuji Temple, a bury place for a true samurai story in Edo era.

This Zen Buddhist temple is located at the harbor district not for from

JR Sinakawa station and is a famous tourist destination. I was very attracted

in the fall of 2014 while visiting Hiroshima Castle, a young political champion

manager refreshed my memory of the 47 Ronins legend and I went on to

check Wikipadia and decided to visit this temple. Recently, there is an English

movie released, 47 Ronins, from Hollywood about the story which is about

how the unemployed retainers to revenge the shame of their lord on a matter

of insult by another powerful Shogun officer. The young local lord failed to

kill the senior officer at a hallway of the Shogun’s office and was order to

commit suicide, seppuku cutting his own stomach, at the same day of the event

and was buried at the temple. One and half years later, 47 of his former retainers,

some of the were actually quite aged, went on to Edo to kill the powerful officier

and his family then surrender to the authority and were ordered to seppuku at

the temple. During Meji era, the emperor pardoned their act and the story became

a national legend.

The temple itself is not that huge, yet there is a subway station under its name.

I didn’t have sufficient time and environment to admire this legend because that

It was snowing and raining, I lost a glove while taking a picture and was in a hurry

to back tract my way to find it. I did find it on the ground yet it was wet. Two days

later I lost it again on my way up to the old ruins of Sendai Castle and never got it

back.

It was very miserable going to place to place on that snowing day. I finally manage

to arrive at Tokyo Tech at Okayama campus to visit my old neighbor Kiyoshi Otani

San. He used to be a bureau chief of Nikkei News of Houston   and after his retirement

, he becomes the vice president of this prestige university. He gave me a tourist book

for his home town Himeje, famous for its Himeji Castle; therefore, I did make a trip to

that city later on.

I also had a dinner with Haruhikoya Yamada San whom I met at a hostel in London

In 2015. He took me to a Japanese dinner at a nearby Shinpocho district. It was very

Good and he also introduced me the name of a raw fish and where it was from, and

was also famous for its lacquer ware. I forgot to take his drawing paper to check on

the place.

抵東京當夜，下起大雪，翌晨積雪到處，我勉強擠上電車，換上山手

線到品川驛，然後步行到泉岳寺，清晨仍舊雨雪交加，行動不便，我

約是一個月前，在阿根廷，購買一短靴和夾克，剛好派上用場。泉岳

寺是禪宗廟宇，屬曹洞宗，赤穗事件中之主角，內匠頭淺野長矩，切

腹自殺後，埋藏於此，一年半後，他的部下，47位浪人，生聚教訓，

臥薪嘗膽，從赤穗到江戶，為先主復仇，被將軍賜死，在泉岳寺自盡，

同藏於該寺，約四百年來，變成日本，甚至全球馳名之故事，一位波

蘭青年聞道，攜女友前往拜望，並展示相片為證。

台北電視新聞挖挖哇，有一旅行專集，主持人有興趣，簡單解釋此故

事，於是我再查維基字典，原因是內匠頭，銜命接待京都天皇特使，

須指導他之佞臣，吉良義之，虛於尾蛇，令其出醜，又言語譏笑，

於是這位年輕之，赤穗籓主，拔刀追砍，五代將軍德川綱吉，責令當

日自盡，消息傳到赤穗籓，引起多少惶恐，47位浪人，許多位都是上

年紀之武士，日本歷史文藝，研究再研究，連我都看過幾次影片故事。

泉岳寺在港區，高輪附近，環境幽雅，由於大雪大雨，真是冰天雪地，

無法久留，除大雄寶殿外，有義士自盡處遺跡，義士塚，淺野之墓，元

祿繚亂，後來在明治年間或平反，變成日本家喻戶曉之神話，也是日本

武士道之精神。

拍攝相片時，掉落一手套，於是我開始緊張，出大門，果然落在積雪濕

地上，過了泉岳寺，卻過不了仙台，荒城途中，沒有一手套，有些不便。

我到大岡山訪友，和大谷清兄午餐，大谷兄與我同庚，是我舊鄰居，現任

東工大副校長，贈我一本姬路城，觀光派司，姬路市長，封他為觀光大使

，我後來使用三張，姬路城，縣立美術館，和好古園花園，講到姬路行，

將有細述。

當夜，山田晴彥兄，前來旅店，帶我到神保町和食晚餐，我在保險業多年，

深知打攪令人不便，所以懇請朋友，讓我付帳，兩位都同意，這是我在日

本，最愉快之兩餐，後來牙齦就左右發炎，分別疼痛，不便咬嚼。

In recent years, I start traveling abroad. At the beginning, I would spend for

a week in a nation, then two weeks, a month and now two months duration.

Traveling helps me to understand politics and history in order to compare

the destiny of Taiwan, understand current situation of Taiwan, and the future

expectation of Taiwan. I understand that my limited ability to travel only to

some nations which should be inexpensive and advanced in political system

especially for those which are able to end or create a world war. These nations

eventually become tourist centers with excellent infrastructure, excellent

public safety , and market oriented boarding.

I flew to Narita Airport from Houston via Chicago with great pleasure due to the

national election in Taiwan on that particular day. I got my 3 week Japan Rail Pass

and began a very busy 13 cities tour. Let me count all the cities which I have been,

Tokyo, Kamakura the Daibutsu, Sendai, Hakodate in Hokkaido, Akida, Niigata,

Kanazawa of the Ishikawa Prefecture, Himeji, Kagoshima of Kiushu Island, Nakasaki,

Okayama, Takamatsu of Shikouku, Hiroshima, Cure and Edajima, and back to Tokyo.

In Tokyo twice, I have visited the Senkaji, the bury temple of the famous 47 ronin

samurai, a wish which I have been looking for ever since I visit Hiroshima Castle.

There are more than 10 million foreign visitors to Japan every year. Last year, the

number was 3.6 million Chinese, 3.5 million Taiwanese, American were the following

third, Hong Kong Chinese, Malaysian, and European were on the list as well. Japan

has a perfect system and people to serve these visitors  without any problem.

The reason of Japanese success, I believe that is Meiji Restoration. The restoration is

famous for its education law, the mandatory education, the school system etc. when

I am traveling in Japan, I can feel Japanese politeness, good manor, good self-confidence,

well dressed, clean and organize, respect and protect the remains of antiquity with

enthusiasm. I discover that after 71 years, Taiwanese start to appreciate the Japanese

experience, 1895-1945, Japanese era of the history of Taiwan, of course, it was a colonial

experience. Have you seen the same experience in India, Hong Kong, and Philippine?

Japan left Taiwan with the structure of a Nation.

Hsieh Chang-Ting advocated Taiwan Restoration in his campaign of Taiwan presidency

with Taiwan Restoration. Taiwanese voters did not appreciate his effort until this year.

We must grasp this rare opportunity to fulfill our political reform in every field and in

every front facing Taiwan.

Last month, I had had another opportunity to visit winter Japan for three

Weeks covering a large territory from Tokyo to Tokyo around the country for

more than 13 cities. This is my third time to visit the nation, after one week

trip in the spring of 2014 and a two weeks trip in the fall of the same year, It

makes me more and more fascinated to the nation and I plan for more visits.

It is all because of the threat of mileage expiration, I than have booked several

destinations in a year, one two weeks to Buenos Aires, Argentina, tree weeks

trip to Japan, two separated trip to Europe. I took off early on January 16, a day

after Taiwan national election, CNN announced the presidential result repeatedly

and I asked a young Vietnamese student helping me to connect my note book to

check on the result of congressional part of election, since then, I had had a very

pleasant 11 hours flight to Tokyo.

I got my Japan Rail’s pass quickly to get on JR’s Narita Express to Tokyo Station

And I asked the information center to guide me the route, Chuo line, to a station

Called Shuidobashi, a waterway bridge, and walked to the hostel. I pulled my

luggage and a bag passing by an urban university campus and a dental college on

Shinbocho Avenue, a 20 minutes’ walk. The inn is a very good location of Tokyo.

Overnight, there was the first snow storm of the year in Tokyo, and was very in-

convenient to walk on the next day.

Before my lunch and dinner appoints with two Japanese friends, I went to visit

visit Sengakuji, a bury temple for the famous 47 ronin, disbanded samurai who

revenged the unfortunate event of the suicide of their lord. I fulfill my wish after

visiting Hiroshima Castle. I have been a devoted Japanese classical films for years,

My lunch with Kiyoshi Otani, an old neighbor  of Travita house. He and his family

keep our friendship for such a long time ever since they left Houston in 1988.

Kiyoshi gave me a tourist book of Himeji city to visit; therefore, I had made up my

Miss of Himeji Castle and a neighboring garden. Yamada Hrruhikoya, a friend and

A frequent European traveler, came to pick me up for a dinner. We went to a

traditional Japanese restaurant and I had had a good time. He introduced me the

raw fish and the lacquer art ware from  a small island Wajima and was very interesting

yet I forgot to take his drawing in the result I can only guessing the place with a doubt

that the fresh fish was from such a place in distance, Ishikawa Prefecture on the coast

of the Sea of Japan.

最近幾年，我開始出國旅行，原本時間在一週，漸漸增長到兩週，

三週，一個月以上，到不久將來之兩個月，旅行幫助我了解，政治

和歷史，用來比較台灣之命運，了解台灣之近況，期待台灣之未來，

我能旅行之目標有限，跼促於幾個國家和地區，這些地方，都須合

乎我之能力範圍，就是須要，價廉物美，我說是要有能力，發動世

界大戰，或是能結束，世界大戰者，結果這些國度，也是全球旅行

勝地，每年都有排名榜，都有觀光業收入成長數目，例如英國，西

班牙，日本，都有很先進之交通，基礎建設，廉價之旅社，合理之

食物消費，今年我再安排春秋兩季，搭郵輪旅行歐洲，德國，法國，

和西歐諸國。

我在一月十六日，搭乘哩數機票到東京，在機場有越南留學生，幫我

接上機場三十分鐘，免費網路，查閱台灣選舉情報，這時候有線電視

新聞，已經頭條新聞，播送蔡英文當選，台灣總統，從芝加哥到東京

十一小時，一路愉快。抵成田機場，我很熟練之領取日鐵三週派司，

為省下非日鐵電車費，日鐵職員，幫我設計，搭中央線，從東京驛，

經兩驛下電車，御茶之水驛，過兩步上橘線車，過一驛，水道橋，下

車，出車站右拐，開始步行在神保町通，過靖國通後兩街，就達旅店。

當夜，東京大雪，屋鼎道路積雪盈呎，今年首次。

從此，我開始全日本十三城市旅行，這是東南西北，太平洋，日本海，

瀨戶內海等，一一走馬看花，遇到許多台灣，中國，香港，和馬來西亞

等地，前來旅行之遊客，每年來訪外國人，超過一千萬人，今年中國人

居首，三百六十萬，台灣其次，三百五十萬，日本有完善之設備，來服

務觀光客。

日本成功之原因，我以為是明治維新，維新之教育法，教育制度，學校

普及，日本人有禮貌，有自信，服裝整節，古蹟保存，竭盡其力，我發

現七十一年後，台灣人開始珍惜，1895-1945年之日本時代之經驗，日

本留下來，近代國家之規模。

2008年，民進黨謝長廷競選台灣總統，提出台灣維新，我說就是變法，

謝有明治維新，在他心中，只是台灣人，無此福份，今年終於等到維新

機會，台灣全國有16縣市，都已經開始維新，日本維新一百五十年，

造福日本，我是旅行者，身歷其境，容我詳述。

去歲秋殘，日本經驗旅行社，寄來日本冬天廣告，幾張雪景，冰天雪地，

令我著迷，於是計劃第三次，旅行日本。行前，旅行社再寄資料來，附加

雪景相片，日本友人，大谷清和山田晴彥兩兄，聞我環繞全國後，僅推薦

涵館和秋田，日本人均提溫泉，我考慮價格，仙台旅社旁一榮華樓老闆娘，

高橋奧桑，建議公眾大溫泉風呂，大概是八百日圓之普，我還是不為所動，

所經之處，多以溫泉名勝，馳名全國，鐮倉，仙台，涵館，秋田，新瀉，金

澤。太平洋海岸之，姬路，鹿兒島，長崎，岡山，高松，吳和江田島，則

未見大幅溫泉廣告。

大谷清和啟子，是我們茶花女街老鄰居，是日經特派員，88年返國，擔任週

末雜誌主編，曾經採訪扁總統，退休後，東工大聘任為公關副校長，東工大

校長，訪問台大，台大校長，大概是那位醫生，很驕傲之提到，台北帝大之

淵源，我最近見面兩次，兩次他都再提到此事，這次又提到台灣旅客數目，

去年約是350萬，稍次於中國 之360萬，他說退休後，將訪嘉南大圳，我想

就是八田與一之軼事。

我和山田晴彥兄，相識於倫敦旅店，吃飯時，他介紹我一生魚片，來自於石川

縣之輪島，輪島以輪島漆著名，我到達金澤市，訪問輪島，需要兩小時巴士車

程。

 初抵東京，遇見今年首次大雪，行動不方便，還好全賴阿根廷這雙短統靴，和

新皮夾克，終於拜訪泉岳寺，這是忠臣藏，元祿繚亂，47浪人埋葬處，泉岳寺

是東京一大地鐵車站，日鐵品川站，步行可及。我在仙臺，拜訪土井晚翠寓居，

並拜訪荒城，將有詳述。

無意間，來到金澤市，石川高等學校紀念館，原舊制四高，是意外之收穫。從

金澤搭乘觀光列車，穿過石川縣，沿著琵琶湖畔，山上下雪，非常美麗，抵京

都後，再轉新幹線到姬路城，冰雨不停。

江田島是，舊海軍兵學校，從廣島搭車到吳市，再搭渡輪到小用港，搭巴士到

海上自衛隊，第一技術學校，參觀到海軍文物館最後一部份館，海軍之神風特

攻隊，年輕烈士，18-24歲，青年遺書，令我落淚不已，每一遺書，都像小時後

背之，與妻訣別書。
